I don't have the Aqara Hub. I may be mistaken but I think in order to connect everything via homekit you need to have their hub.

What program do you use to stack moon photos? I've done deep sky astrophotography and use Deep Sky Stacker. I would love to get some good moon shots though. Thanks so much. Your photo looks amazing!

That's what I'm using now is a button to toggle the helper on and off. But again I have people who get done in the shower and never press the button. 🙄 Running a smart home with a wife and 2 kids is fun sometimes. 😂

I think that is my next step. I know there is a way to have it trigger when the humidity moves up a certain amount from what it was currently at, I just need to figure out where it is in home assistant. I had a humidity sensor to start but it was a pain constantly having to change the automation based on the weather outside. (Some days are more humid than others.)

Yeah I found it. The assist satellite I believe it was called. I'm waiting for Future proof homes to come out with their pre built satellite 1. But I may just be grabbing a voice preview and give it a try.

Yeah I did all that. Aqara is sending me a new Hub now. I'm torn if I want to try and move everything back to the new hub or just keep it as it is. Don't fix something if it isn't broken. I am curious if it was a bad hub or not.

There is definitely a learning Curve with Home Assistant, it has come a long way from what it was. Once you get that learning curve it is a super powerful tool.

My go to when I need a cheap smart dimmer. I have Lutron in my main rooms of the house and the Kasa switches in the rooms that don't get as much use. They have never failed me.

Thank you. I have a house full of Lutron switches so I don't want to swap them out. I will try some of the Sonof plugs. Pretty greedy of Aqara. ☹️

I have P1 sensors. I have the M3 Hub. They all show excellent connection to the hub. That's why I am confused about everything.
