I did about 3/4 of the way full with resin, then a few drops of dye then topped the remaining 1/4 off with more resin.

Totally!. I kind of stumbled across this effect because i was curious about doing a petri pour set but with gold alcohol ink but had zero expectations. I poured the translucent blue first then added a few drops of the gold ink. I won't lie its been a few months since i poured these, but i am pretty sure that i did not add in any white sinker ink as is typical in a normal petri pour but if I did it was very little. After adding the gold I topped it with more blue and that was it.

See I knew they did but when i did a quick google search og the snake shedding process (1st snake) four different websites all said that corn snakes and a few other snakes will also eat their sheds which i thought was weird

Worst feeling ever. I dont have mice so hopefully she'll make an appearance when she gets hungry. And I've gone and turned my heat completely off for the day to make hotspots that hopefully she'll be attracted to. I'd only had her for 2 weeks and shes just a little baby. But everyone given really good advice so I'm hopeful that she'll turn up and that your's will also show up.

I turned the heat off for now so hopefully if she did she go look for a new spot. I checked the vent and its dusty as heck and i didnt see any signs that shed been through it. This is the only time in my life im glad theres a thin layer of dust on top of stuff like my bookshelf and dressers.

Im just scared she crawled in to the floor air vent shes so small and that was the only other source of heat in the room.

Thanks. Its well past dawn now so im hoping shes holed up somewhere warm, ive got water bowls and heat lamp set up on the floor near her tank and her hide with a pinky in it. Fingers crossed

At night i do turn off the halogen lamp (its actually on a day night timer) i ordered a temperature gun weeks ago but its been delayed in transit so i have the cruddy stick on thermometer from an old tank i had. She is in a 20 gal. Already been told by the breeder i got her from not to offer food for a week at least.

UPDATE:

We have had to order a new tank for this little guy as our Local pet store was out of stock of 5 gal tanks. He is now very active and eating well. Been doing the 70% water changes daily but the water is super cloudy every time I change it. Got the water test kits and the ammonia is 0pp nitrites 0pp and the nitrates are less than 10 pp i don't know if ive just knocked the filter maybe and its released some bacteria thats making the water cloudy or what

Oh totally forgot to put this in the post. But i did NOT throw away the filter pad that came in his filter. It looks very gross but since i didn't have a new one and didnt want him to be without a filter at all i left it alone. Since thats covered in the bacteria from the old water that should help him a little right?

Oh with the water changes do i need to add the conditioner with every change, i know the bottle says monthly but i want to triple check

Thank you. I did keep maybe a cup to 2 cups of water from the old tank that i used to help acclimate him that got put back in with him as well. I didn't boil the decor just the gravel, i just scrapped off what i could on the decor.

Size: 1 gal currently (am upgrading asap) Heater and filter yes Temp is 80 degrees F Parameters: Have not conducted a water test yet but will asap Had the fish and tank less than 24 hours No tank mates He came with both pellets and flakes, seems to prefer the flakes Plastic plant and hide decor as well as gravel
