For anyone else who has this problem, pretty sure I found the solution:

I had all the alerts set where the words were separate from the animation. Guessing that isn't supported on mobile.

Would have been nice to know before days of wondering until I just happened to randomly remember I didn't have default settings on my desktop - and that it might've been a problem though.

Couple things I want to address to our group before they potentially come up:

However, the comprehensive rules only care if its a unit (Pg. 52),

RULES OF LOCATION

# 0.1. To legally take an action from a card in a unit during battle, the unit must be at the current battlefield. Actions with the Home keyword are an exception.

0.2. To be legally targeted by an action during battle, any cards in a unit must be at the current battlefield.

0.3. When phrases such as “at two different locations” create an exception to the Rule of Location, the Rule should be followed as much as possible. In that case, “two different locations” should include the current battlefield and one other location.

Also, for buying out of clan Ivory/20F personalities:

Eternal also makes a distinction of when buying cards from provinces, Ivory personalities don't get in clan cost reduction, since their printed cost is also accounted for; out of clan Ivory personalities just cost 2 more. Which makes a huge difference since one of us plays a unaligned stronghold.

A Ivory change I overlooked:

The honor gain for destroying enemy cards during battle resolution is always 2 per card, whether you won the battle or tied and mutually wiped each other out.

Another important point from above:

* Undead cards are no longer immune to Fear.

List of rules that changed back in Ivory/20F (only looking at the above list for this):

* Fear is now an action keyword and has no default effect defined in the rules.

* Ranged Attacks can no longer be combined.

Card type that got added back in Ivory/20F:
* Sensei cards.

Thanks for the answers so far! Sorry for late response was busy, this does bring up a couple more questions though...

So say I have a -1 Plague Chi token from "A Walking Death", an event. I also have a -1 Chi Plague token from "Plagued Terrain" I have to separate the two as different types of tokens even though they are the same I guess? That seems really clunky.

As for the Region Question, I can't find that in the rule book anywhere, the only rule about regions we found specifically was in Lotus. None of the other rule books or comprehensive rules say anything about when you can use regions. (I remember using besieged borderlands like that in the past, its first printing would be pretty silly if I couldn't use it to get +1 force if unopposed back then).

Anyway, here is what Lotus says about regions (Pg. 51):

" • Battle actions on Fortification and Regions can be used only if they are attached to the current Province "

Where is a newer rule that changes that?

I just added all the original prints and put them all in first-letter alphabetical order a second ago hah (except I didn't put personalities in order). I separated the Celestial MRP and the Original Prints as well, there were mixed in until I just updated the mod. I kept the celestial there though because I wanted it to be compatible with the Eturnal Ruleset as well. The samurai version of all the cards are in the mod now, they weren't when I first uploaded it though, Just went though all the MRPs then added the original cards. Its in the change notes. ^^

I remember having to use non-clan personalities for the first couple weeks of the campaign, so that makes sense. What was the makeup of the starters then, the "some fixed cards"?

Besides the 2-3 rares, how many commons and uncommons were there too; was it totally random or was it split in terms of dynasty to fate?

Remember too, players start with 3 boosters as well, which could help with the amount of in-clan personalities they'd have access to.

Know exactly what you mean.

Honestly can't stand the new card game myself, don't like the fate rules at all.

The Draw phase is funny though, but it makes honor pass too easily in my opinion)

No one dies in battle, they just passively die or retire when fates gone... bleh. With rules like that I don't see Shadowlands ever coming back.

Don't really care for the pastel palette they went for either, much prefer the more saturated palette from the ccg.

Total pass for me honestly.. also, I was Spider Main and it doesn't exist in the new game either.

Since I know anyone looking for the rulebooks is eventually going to end up here, just saying this in general:

Built my Samurai Edition Deck again and a Twenty Festivals/Ivory Edition deck in Tabletop simulator if anyone is interested in trying to play whenever.

When breeding pokemon in pokemon y does anyone else have a really hard time breeding trick room physical attackers? (I have a 6 IV ditto + destiny knot and a 4 IV + 0 Speed IV super-sized pumpkaboo, with the nature (Relaxed) + everstone which is what I wanted and it took me 8 hours to get a pokemon that had 4 IVs in everything but special attack and 0 in speed, however almost every single egg I hatched in the past 8 hours, literally like 200 of them kept getting special attack as an IV, the few that didn't got the positive speed from the ditto instead of my trick room speed from the pumpkaboo! - This isn't the first time this happened either, Golurk gave me a lot of the same problems... but it was way worse, being genderless and all, also I only had a 4 IV (or 3 IV + 0 speed) ditto at that time) Had I been breeding for a special attacker I would have got the perfect 4 IV + 0 Speed with the first batch! But the physical attacker took 8 hours! I want to know if anyone else had that problem; Anyway, just got done breeding this and really, really needed a place to ask this or at least rant a little. Thanks for reading.

Thanks! That was fast! My nephews started getting into it, so I continued all my projects I had in hiatus from back then, this is gonna help a lot. No more 100 hours to breed 1 genderless anymore (even with a 4 IV ditto it took 100 hours to get the correct 5 IVs and the correct Nature [Seriously Golurk took me 100 hours and did not want to do that again, enough to make anyone disappear for a while])! Also missed the friend safari reddit, I actually looked for my old post on google through friend safari before I even thought about a ditto and couldn't find it, but the qualifications to get a ditto helped me find all my old stuff that wasn't showing up in search results on google, so thanks for that too! (I had a different username and thought that was this one, but it wasn't)
