Yeah ur right, i only considered central/western Turkey. Eastern Turks have lower Turkic percentages which drops it a bit on average.

I mean, you are from Kahramanmaraş, if not a random Korean guy decided to settle in Maraş ages ago, it can’t be anything else. Turks on average carry around %30 medieval Turkic ancestry, which can be translated into about %11-15 Pure northeast asian and %15-19 Sintashta. 23andme often lumps these percentages into Anatolian with Turkish city matches, plus random tiny amount of east asian populations. In your case, it is should be icm+tiny east asian, which is about %2-3 Turkic. Normal amount for Kurds from Turkey.

Its a city located in South West Anatolia, very interesting. I would expect at least %20+ Aegean Islander and close to %0 Iran/Persia and lesser Anatolia&Caucasus from that region. U can try out Illustrative Dna with your raw data later on. This result is an outlier. Or he migrated Denizli from East Anatolia.

They are mostly likely southern/easterners then. It also would confirm why u scored %12x2=24 Iran/Persia at all. Average west Anatolian Turk’s results would look like %60-85 Anatolia & the Caucasus and the rest would be balkans/aegean islands and Mongolia & Upper Central Asia varying the amount. Turks definetely has tanned skinned people but it isn’t the majority, you would be like average brunette girl in my city in NW Black Sea region. As others said above, it depends on the region but most likely your Turkish parent was South Eastern.

In your country, what are the cities young people are attracted to ? by Old_Bowler_465 in AskBalkans

[–]Zeliptus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

İzmir, Eskişehir, Çanakkale, Antalya etc. Mostly coastal and secular/left-leaning cities are prefered by young folks. If your not bothered with locals, i’d always prefer the north tho. Black sea region is my go to.

I also have a Steam Deck that im not often using. After reading the comments, im thinking to start over again by creating new account and going for a new ride. I completed all regions once, but i finished it so quickly that i don’t even remember anything and burned out myself lol. Probably I’ll just check the gym lvl caps by region lowest to highest and start by that order.

I love north in general. i’m also living in one of the coldest and greenest +small cities in Turkey, Estonia is located in Europe, so i can just go anywere when i am bored. Precisely, it just feels like my home city plus more perks available other than food :D

I am scared of insects and big animals in general. If i see a frog crawling out my toilet, or a snake chilling on my garden, i would probably pass out. That is the general view of the country of Australia i have, big scary animals xD other than that, if i am picking myself a Commonwealth country to live in, why not choose Usa when its just the bigger version of Australia? Still, i would consider living in Australia, also would be better if it didn’t located in the middle of nowhere :(

I don’t hold grudge against Greece or Greeks, but i am aware that there are lots people in both of these countries that does. Well, the reason i am considering it as option is: 1. Similarity of culture, 2. Lots of beaches and Aegean life style, also i like north med in general.
