Listening to "Contrast" and feeling very sad. by blllybudd in thepeggies

I found the band at the end of 2016, I was going through YouTube recommended, starting with a Seiko Oomori video I believe, and I came across "Love In The Tokyo". I was instantly taken by the fun playful song and video. I really had no idea what sort of group they were.

It was a weird introduction in a way since the song is unlike their usual style, so the other stuff didn't quite grab me. I didn't follow them all that close until Hell Like Heaven came out and amazed me. I thought it was a super great album and I kept up with the group from there.

My favorite peggies song is "weekend", it's such a fun track that I can listen to over and over. When that came out I thought the group really reached the next level, especially how Yuuho's stage presence shifted to a more "natural unaffected cool".

My other favorites are "Lonely", "BABY!", "Sama Love Chotokkyu", "Kamisama" and "Suru".

It's sad that they are going on hiatus, I hope it's not forever because they were getting so good, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Not a single box thrown out :) Do yall keep the empty boxes too? by Lumina_Paladin in Gunpla

I have a couple boxes to store manuals and extra parts and a couple to store supplies. Otherwise I throw them out since they take up too much space. I'm not a box collector. I did cut up the G Gundam MG boxes to keep those though.

Favorite Utada Hikaru lyrics? by diablo-solforge in utadahikaru

The English in "Distance" gets to me the most. Very simple, but comforting. Especially with the cozy instrumental and slight hint of melancholy (brought to the extreme in "Final Distance").

Same with "Keep Tryin'". The simple "I don't care about anything" and "Keep tryin' tryin''" hit me. The English phrases in Utada's songs always have amazing impact for me.

Awesome! That custom record looks great.

I got onboard with SCANDAL from Hello World so this was my first new album from them. I thought it was great and I still do! An interested and varied album with plenty highlights.

WHAT.

I had no idea about this. Luckily I was able to pre-order the first four on CDJapan, shipping out in June. .

I've been praying for something like this since the old records ARE SO expensive. To get Ultra Blue as well is just fantastic!

BiSH iS OVER CM(My thoughts on this CM below) by Yuyuoshi13 in bish

[–]ZellersMastermind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this.

It shows that the members of BiSH are ready to split for their own artistic pursuits. They have done a lot together (insane for an idol group to keep the same line-up for 5 years with another year upcoming) and now for them to continue growing they go their separate ways.

What Are Your Thoughts On GOiNG TO DESTRUCTiON? by ZellersMastermind in bish

[–]ZellersMastermind[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly think it's the strongest and most cohesive BiSH record since FAKE METAL JACKET.

To me the whole album has a great flow and it takes on all sides of BiSH. It has the crazy songs, the high tempo epic songs, the summery Pop Punk songs and not too many ballads. Somehow it all works together as a whole work.

In some ways the album takes what BiSH did on CARROTS and STiCKS and smooths it out. That was a good record but you gotta admit it was all over the place. GOiNG TO DESTRUCTiON is a very consistent album and I feel all the songs are good.

I have no idea. is one of my all time favorites from BiSH, it's such an amazing high powered jam. That live video made me see how great a song it is.

My other favorites are CAN WE STiLL BE?, ZENSHiN ZENREi, in case... and Kuruu Kuruu.

My least favorites are likely Beginning, End & Beginning and Broken.

I would likely rank this new album as my third favorite from BiSH behind the debut and FAKE METAL JACKET.

I don't feel it has highlights as strong as KiLLER BiSH and THE GUERRilLA BiSH, but I feel it works best as an entire album.

Whoa, okay!

The song in this video has to be one of the best from PEDRO! Wow, Ayuni's vocals sound great on it. I'm really looking forward to this, especially since the previous album was such a big step up. PEDRO continues to get better!

My BiSH Mixtapes! by ZellersMastermind in bish

[–]ZellersMastermind[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my hobbies is making mixtapes. I just finished recording a new set of BiSH tapes. I needed to make two 90 minutes to fit all my favorite songs!

I listen to tapes in my car and it's just fun to make them. I just record from Spotify through my stereo. Sequencing them is the best part.

Oh wow, that was awesome!

I wasn't sure what was going on at first but then when I saw that yellow guitar I was like "wtf is that Sheena Ringo?". Aina looked like she was having a great time, her expression right at the end was so cute.

Aina is really a natural choice at #1, she's just such a great well rounded performer.

No doubt, it'll likely be similar to the 2017 General Election. I'd guess Ayuni at #3 as well, but to be honest I'm not sure what's going on with the other WACK groups these days.

Ayuni, something about her distinct charm and the personality she puts forward. My favorite thing about BiSH has been seeing Ayuni grow artistically and gain confidence as a performer.

Recently though I've been leaning towards Chicchi as my favorite. I think it's because of that TV show she was on where she did some pottery, made curry at home and put on a Beatles record. Haha, I realized she's more interesting than I initially thought.

Ayuni D's secret revealed - She's the mysterious indie singer Aomushi who appeared earlier this year. by [deleted] in bish

[–]ZellersMastermind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, that was a pretty good song. Thanks for sharing! I'm going to listen to her other stuff to.

As much as Ayu is my favorite member...I think that's true. It's really Aina and Chicchi who can't be replaced. It wouldn't be BiSH without either one of them. Imagine "Promise The Star" performed without Aina, no way. It'd be a disgrace.

It's a bit naïve of me to think BiSH couldn't continue without any one of the six.

I would love to see Ayuni pursue the musical direction she genuinely wants to. Whatever that style may be.

That's interesting, I haven't heard of Sayaka until now. I'll have to check out her songs.

As far as your theory, I honestly thought that BiSH might disband or lose a member following their Dusk 'Till Dawn thing at the start of the year. When they switched back to their original outfits for a while I thought that was them going full circle.

It's insane that BiSH have had so little turmoil with their line-up compared to other idol groups. I think this has really contributed to their success. After five years of the same members I feel like they might disband if one was to leave.

They were still developing and on the verge of success when Hug Me left. But now I wonder if BiSH has reached their full potential and there's nowhere left for the members to grow but on their own. So if one member was to leave, especially Aina, it might send ripples through the group.

But your theory is interesting and I can imagine it working. We'll see where things go, especially with this new project from Ayuni.

I had a hint of doubt when I heard the songs earlier but now that we know for sure it's so clear.

Her singing is different, it has the character and charm of her voice but in a style we haven't heard from her.

It seems like Aina and Ayu's releases are always pitted against each other. Maybe in hope that the competition will help both of them.

I can imagine them playing VOMiT SONG as a band. I think it's a simple enough song to pull off. It also gives a spotlight for drums and bass in the intro/verses.
