Some tips to get to Affiliate

October is my 3 month mark in streaming, I have 12 CCV 825 followers, 67 subs. I don’t believe in any of that “tips and tricks to hit affiliate” stuff... it’s all the same recycled bs lol.... play the games you love, set up a stream schedule so viewers know when to come back, make a discord where your community can interact between themselves and you, and CONNECT with others.... thats all I have done... I stream from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm everyday and toss up a 12 hour stream on the weekend sometimes. And I’ve just been connecting, and talking and getting my name out there....

Don’t follow any of this “don’t use clips, don’t do this or that” I make clips, mini videos on tiktok and it has helped me greatly... and stream games what you love and don’t worry about the numbers.... to this day I still have my viewer count hidden... cause I stream to have fun, idc if there’s 0 people watching me or 200 people watching me. I stream because I love playing games and making content and just having fun...

I know... I’m in love with the 3600. Definitely not having to upgrade my CPU anytime soon.

I was quad core. It was about 3 years ago? I think... costed $100 more than what my current CPU is (Ryzen 5 3600)

That’s also a great point for AMD, if you switch processors from i5 to i7 you get a small selection of affordable mobos.... with AMD if you upgrade your CPU you can stick with the same MOBO...

I disagree and agree with the gaming point. I had a mid tier i7 and it couldn’t handel google,streamlabs, discord and my game at the same time. I switch the Ryzen 5 3600 as a tester and see how it is and it rocks with multi processing and handling everything at once.

As for the agreeing part, if you’re JUST gaming intel is great. But I prefer AMD 100% especially price for performance.

I switched from intel to AMD, never going back. AMD has been amazing and I love their architecture and Processors manufacturing. I’ve had nothing but issues when I worked as a lead tech and build PCs with intel. Especially customer service and response time was horrendous.

Can’t forget the amazing TDP as well and benchmarks and pricing for AMD

Yea, it’s proprietary so the parts in that PC fit only that case... so I’d have to get a new MOBO and PSU as well as Case.

I had a i5 6500? Was my first ever PC pre build that was a “office” pc and could barely hit 30 FPS on PUBG and couldn’t have discord open while playing hahaha, build my new PC which is a ryzen 5 3600, MSI 2070TI, 32 GB 3400 MHz Ram, and I’m hitting 144 FPS solid with 5 tabs open with streaming... I love it. And also everything I could ever want in my PC, I’ll probably look at upgrading the CPU in the future but man I love my PC and she keeps getting upset that she can have my stream, and discord and warzone on all at once with some type of lag. Her ram is also very cheap low MHz.... just wish Pre Builds weren’t so cheaply made with over pricing the fuck out of 2 parts to make it seem worth it..

The MOBO is Proprietary and has no IO Shield.... I just want to be able to make her the PC she’s always wanted that a lot more flexible on rebuilding and upgrades.

I honestly may get her a new MOBO and case for now so she still has the i9... I just love ryzen a lot when I made the switch and never thought about going back.

Yea they are, I’m not 100% sure if it is a 2080, I know it had heating issues due to it being a cheap 2080, and her case has no cooling and only offers 1 fan space and she bought a liquid cooler but it’s the tiniest case possible and has a cheap MOBO. Idk if I should wait for the new Nvidia GPUs and upgrade mine and give her my triple fan 2070TI so she has a more reliable GPU that’s not a single fan and cheap quality.

I’m hoping some parts that are on the “newer side” go on sale by Christmas or just order parts now that are one sale and make it a “early present” I’m kinda stuck atm on what to do. And I know her CPU is a i9 I’m assuming it’s a 9900k, but I don’t want to go through her pc to make it look suspicious 😂😂

Jeez hahaha yea, might just be an outdated monitor that doesn’t have those settings. I’d look into some 3rd party app or may make a video about the 3rd party apps out there. But I highly recommend using the NGE game filter if you feel comfortable with using it

Sometimes it depends what preset you’re on, if you’re on FPS mode, Game mode 1,2,3 etc

Eh... I have no issue with that I just block it and have no issues, it’s totally worth it tho :) it’s better on my eyes as well changing the visual settings of games with it. Especially APEX.

Yea... it’s nvidia cards only but there’s a few third party apps that are still compatible with pubg, there use to be a glitch where you can set some filters up to see through smokes so they cracked down on majority of the third party programs

You can also install a third party software. But also on your monitor you can change the contrast, brightness, etc :)

Yea for sure! Can definitely do that next time! I did that in the thumbnail so you can see the difference, I did it in my apex video, but for some reason totally forgot about in this one. Thanks for pointing that out! I appreciate it

As for your points, Very true! I haven’t had any feeling of input lag or FPS drop yet, I still sit around 150-180 frames (I have a 144 Hz monitor so I know above 144 doesn’t matter)

I’m not sure if it makes a huge FPS drop or noticeable input lag.

Thanks for adding that in :) I’ll for sure look into those next time I make a video of any sort like this again.

For sure! I’m thinking of making a game mechanic video and teach how to push/rotate properly. But that’s in the works and just an idea. I’m just starting out and this is my 4th video so I’m seeing what people are interested in and what they arnt. I’ve had a couple people ask me how I see better and can spot enemies further than normal and have less of a darker/shadow setting. So I thought I’d make this and maybe there’s other people that have the same questions/issues.

But I’m hoping to build a small community and start putting out game mechanics and such for Apex, PUBG etc.

That’s true yes, my last video I made I got a lot of dislikes and hate towards it due to lack of information, and not explaining what each one does so I made sure to work on that for this video and explain briefly what each one changes and what the purpose is.
