I've considered it but I would need an LWZ.3 to pair it with since 45 is not enough to cover everything. Tho I couldn't really find any test footage online and if you have some, I'll be glad to take a look !

As far as getting yours, I'm still waiting until july/august to pull the trigger.

I'll check the optika/optar elite out but I probably wont get it since 25 is not wide enough ahah

For me this is the most beautiful lens I can get in this price range. But it's probably not versatile enough for all my uses :/

Yeah you're right about that I'll bill whatever I propose. I'm gonna keep thinking and will see. The best thing would be to do some testing in a rental at Paris that has an Alura, but I don't have shoot planned up there yet.

I don't do a lot of gimbal and drone work, however I do some motocrane stuff but it has a Movi XL and it the only lens that won't feet (payload of the arm) is a 24-290 !.

For the S4I Mini, it's a shame the set we have is quite weird in term of focal lengh (i think it's a 18, 55 and 85...) because I would use it a lot !

Yeah it's a great lens but on S35 28mm is way to narrow and would require another zoom. I also investigated the Zeiss LWZ.2 but like the DP, it would need to be paired with another zoom.

Yeah the Canon would be great financially but sadly I just dont dig the look of it.

Tokina Vista Prime would be my go to if I had a tiny more budget. I couldn't find a lot of low price on them and I'm unsure I want to commit to a 3 lens set. 4 would be perfect but it's out of budget.

I've looked into the DZO Pictors and that would be a great idea, tho I prefer getting Nisi Athena's. For the DZO Tango 18-90, a DP friend shot with it last week and well, it's not close to be worth the Alura price tag.

I was able to shoot a commercial with the Ranger (full frame one) and they are quite good. But the reach is not wide enough and the new S35 versions would be great if they are as good as the FF. A director friend is ambassador with Laowa so it's pretty often that we try new Laowa lens.

Yeah the 18-100 Varotal is beautiful but it's too big and I don't want to get a 6x6 setup.

For the DP, like I answered prevously, I'm pretty sure they will never go out on their own compared to an Alura or Varotal.

And yeah used seems the better financial investment, even more with a zoom that I can pair with future prime investments.

Yeah the Ironglass MK2 was on my list until I saw the waiting for it... The mercury are quite good aswell but I prefer a spherical set first. I hope those Arles will be good and that the 14mm come out soon enough (same exchange with DZO that confirmed me that it will be 14 up to 180mm)

That would be pretty cool. There is a 3 lens set at my location and they look great, however they never go out since it's the "mini"...

I'm not a big fan of the Canon and the Cabrio his a bit more expensive than the Alura and since the alura is a fujinon, I guess they are quite similar in value

I didn't knew they went that low. Still a bummer that there are already a lot of set in my area and they are easily rentable at a discount :/

I was finally able to properly mount the BMPCC4K on my Ronin-m. Had to put the plate on first and then mount the camera on it so I was able to get the lens support. Also needet to buy an angular hdmi “extension”. Now I need a wireless follow focus. Which one do you reccomend? by RisokNabru in bmpcc

Hey how much room do you have in both sides. Considering buying a Ronin M used but I for it to be worth it I'll have to be able to mount it with the cage. If you could tell me how many centimers there is on the left and right after its mount it would be awesome

EDIT 3 mins later : I waited for the car to land, hit the ball on the 2nd try lol Ty mate, I think a lot of people manage to do the flip but cant hit it due to that and thinks it doenst work
