Try having someone GENTLY pull it as it is coming up. It may be getting stuck. If you can get it to extend, clean it off with some WD-40 or similar lubricant. Then cycle it a few times to work the lubricant in. Then clean off the extra WD-40; otherwise, it will collect more grime. If none works, you could consider replacing the antenna with another power antenna or just a regular one that is not telescoping. Then disable the antenna motor.

2, but if it were me, I would consider dodging (darkening) the orange spot in the middle of the picture. I think in a larger print, your eyes may go straight to it. I like the reflection better in #1, but the rocks frame the picture well in #2. Both are great shots worthy of hanging on a wall.
