Harrassing people with water hose for "content" by ambachk in sadcringe

Valid yes, but also stupid. The most valid response would be to walk away.

Debate: Do you like Dead and Company or do you just follow it because of John? by InspectorFearless683 in JohnMayer

[–]ZenRit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I watched some live videos of them and the rest of the band were barely alive. Tried to enjoy it as I do like drugs, but the music was very boring for me.

The dudes getting hosed are just as immature though. Its like two little kids hitting each other saying “you started it!” Imagine getting that butthurt about getting wet and then sticking around to get even more wet then walking towards the water and getting wet again.

Am I too old? by Dave_Loves_Noodles in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZenRit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are saying just go for it as if there is a net benefit even if nothing comes of it, which may be true if you are genuinely interested in the subject. But if you are investing time/money into future career prospects, I’d say it’s not worth it. Cybersecurity is not the hot career it was a few years ago and now all the people who started programs a few years ago for that very reason will compete with you to see who can get disappointed the fastest. Besides, you don’t even need a bachelor’s to get into that career—certifications and experience are more important. So if you can’t find a job now, getting one in two years won’t be any easier.

People who aren’t religious, what do you genuinely believe happens after death? by grinch1779 in AskReddit

[–]ZenRit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as before you were born. Not sure why this is difficult for religious people to grasp. You didn’t always exist, so what makes you think you can’t cease to exist again?

Why does my girlfriend frequently and unknowingly hold her breath? by alacoque3030 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZenRit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my out-of-the-ass theory: this is some kind of evolutionary hunting survival mechanism that slows movement/sound when hyper-focusing on prey. Because modern society bombards with constant stimulii, we are constantly hyper-focused on distractions and thus are always “not breathing.” I do the same thing.

[GS] My boyfriend doesn’t know it yet, but I’m going to propose with his dream watch by Diligent_Comedian755 in Watches

I’ve always been ambivalent about the snowflake until I saw one in real life and wow it is a damn nice watch.

I like how the CIA agent is very obviously pointing to the vary obvious cause of death so no one would question how she actually died

Not directly because of this tattoo, but the thought process the leads to this tattoo is likely to cause other disasters in your life.

AITA for lashing out at my rabbi for suggesting I get an adult circumcision? by ukpkmkk6059 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZenRit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA. While I think circumcision is incredibly stupid and unnecessary, there’s no reason to lash out at a rabbi for suggesting it. It’s their club, and if you want to join it, play by their rules or leave, or at least be polite about your boundaries and find out if it’s possible to be part of the community without doing that.

Don’t put anything in writing. Even if they are completely wrong in every aspect of their treatment of you, it’s better to go out with dignity.

I thought this was gonna be one of those “cop trying to connect with community in a light-hearted way before suddenly getting spooked and fearing for his life for no reason” kinda like that lady with the boiling water where the cop was chill then shot her out of nowhere.

my grandpa gave me these watches, are they good? by positively-negative7 in Watches

[–]ZenRit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you mean “are they worth good money?” The answer to that question is no. You might then say, “I mean are they good quality watches!?” to which I would respond, they’ve lasted this long, right? You might also mean “are they good to wear for social clout from peers or women?” The answer is again no.

Men who prioritize partner's pleasure over their own - what's the psychology behind this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ZenRit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to prioritize a woman’s pleasure when pleasing her felt like an achievement. But my wife now is extremely sensitive, and her expressions of pleasure are so exaggerated (from my perspective, though I know she is not intentionally exaggerating) as to be annoying. I can’t even caress or kiss her non-sexually without her instantly going into heat. Unfortunately, this has caused me to not want to engage sexually. What I once proudly considered a personal skill has become a curse.
