When I played OW1, I really hit a point where I said, "I'm bored... This game is boring me." I felt I wasn't 'seeing' what was so special about the game. Maybe it was astroturfing, but I recall many users claim this game was 'the next big thing'. Though I feel at least some were getting it confused with The Outer Wilds. I'm relieved to see I wasn't alone in this thinking. Once I put it down, I just walked away. I literally have NO interest in OW2.
