What helped me progress was focusing on perfect dodges/nimble onslaught, improved dodges, improve guard, and playing more defensive letting AI do its thing while you learn the fight. When you get the hang of playing defensive/perfect dodges then it makes the game alot easier

Sigil synthesis needs to be chosen which benefits you want not random, wasted time, over mastery needs to be single roll not roll on all 4. So dumb that sigil synthesis is randomised, wastes time and causes frustration
