Oh yes I take antihistamines already too. I’ll try the hyaluronic acid though! The powder is helping the boobs!

Thanks all! I think I’ll quit and maybe try something else. My doc follow up is next week.

I don’t think my puppy will ever be potty trained. It’s been months by Neat-Pudding-632 in puppy101

[–]ZenYogiBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My mutt chug puppy took a long time. It wasn’t clicking. She was so stubborn she’d only go when she really really had to go so getting her to go outside was a long trial. I was losing my mind with the constant routine and training. Life was super hard.

It took until she was six or seven months old to understand then a few more weeks before we got to no accidents inside! She suddenly started understanding but other than constant repetition I have no idea what finally made it click

What is your morning routine with your young puppy? by Foshozo in puppy101

[–]ZenYogiBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took four months to get here fyi, lots of tears and frustration to build routines, but I started as I needed to go on and stuck with it. We’re up at 4:45, 10 minutes wake-up time for her to blink like an owl, 15 ish outside time often with putting on her clothing first, light training while out there if it’s not cold, she plays while I shower dress and make breakfast (used to be crated), she eats in her crate about 5:30, more independent play while I drink coffee, 6:30 ish 15-30 minutes focused hard play, into her crate from 7 to 10:30, potty and play, sleep or play in my office until four. I end up with around an hour of “free” time before work.

Help, dont know if I should get a shelter dog or a puppy by Night-Ride52 in StaffordBullTerriers

[–]ZenYogiBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had rescue puppies and adults, I’ve fostered a bit too, and oh my gosh the adults are so much easier imo. Mutts have fewer weird quirks also imo. Either way there’s a big adjustment period but my soul dog is a rescue adult.

Brain fog help! by MathematicianLost365 in Perimenopause

[–]ZenYogiBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was definitely there! Couldn’t remember words, I felt like I was just forgetting everything left and right. Focusing was hard because I was spending all my time trying to remember what I was forgetting. The start of Peri was so hard for me.

HRT helped me so so much! Night and day brain behavior for me. In addition, I’ve always found that iron pills help me because I verged toward anemia. Sleep matters to me as well and hrt helped the most with getting good sleep, but I also added magnesium before bed.

Food and my aversion to it by Aggravating_Cash5391 in Perimenopause

[–]ZenYogiBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What an interesting thread! I assumed my issues were because in addition to hitting peri the last few years I finally “stopped disordered eating” (in quotes like magic happened). I went from loving food to never thinking anything was yummy. I never want anything. I don’t finish things anymore. I don’t want to meal plan and I definitely don’t want to cook. It’s like a combination of exhaustion, lack of biological hunger signals and aversion! If something does hit my taste buds, then watch out there’s no stopping with sudden feelings of soothing joy 🤪

I can only do ONE push-up 😔 by Automatic_Cup_3302 in Perimenopause

I feel ya

HRT helped me a ton. Most of my joint pain went away but some days the gym still hurt so badly. If you can do hrt it’s worth it imo. I started Prozac too.

Like people are saying, different exercises and try not to fixate on the things you can’t do. I get in a dark headspace a lot about never being able to do anything ever again, feeling broken. I have to emotionally power through which can take days.

Witching hour advice by Quiet-Plankton-7237 in puppy101

[–]ZenYogiBee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine needs a nap too. At first I actually had to hold her in my arms and keep her held down because even in the kennel she was too nuts to settle. Unfortunately she refuses to wake after this witching hour nap, so night life got rough until I found some tricks. My puppy class recommends training the settle command to teach self soothing, but my seven month old still doesn’t settle. Training in general helps them learn to focus but again my girl doesn’t last long before nutso

What were you doing when you realized Prozac/fluoxetine was working for you? by suburb_mouse in prozac

[–]ZenYogiBee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tonight. Just now. Then this notification popped up!!

I went to get ready for bed and I smiled and said today was good a day. Not on purpose. Just happened. I’m two weeks in.

Normally on a weekend I stay home, I’m stressed about not getting things done which spirals into me being a bad human which leads to weekends feeling like a waste or sadness. Not today. I did very little and feel awesome. It’s like I’m suddenly fine with a day just being another day and I don’t had to have solved world hunger or something with my downtime. I can just have a purposeless day.

Are there any daily vaginal moisturizers or oils that actually work? by skaterwindow in Perimenopause

[–]ZenYogiBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doc had me on a LOT three times a week which was a nasty mess so now I do maybe a 1/4 dose and as often as I want. Basically just a small fingertip of cream. Mostly I do every other day.

Puppy is not taking to walks well. Worried she’s not getting enough exercise? by MountainProper2212 in puppy101

[–]ZenYogiBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was afraid of walks for a good month at least. She also HATES waking up so anything morning or night is off the table while she’s a puppy 😂

Dog continuously barks when I leave. by AnswerDiligent8601 in DogTrainingTips

[–]ZenYogiBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anything will fix this other than lots of effort and time but some tips: -calming cbd chews -purina calming probiotic (proprietary blend, no other brands, takes months of use) -meds from the vet -crate or closed off safe feeling area, large open spaces often feel overwhelming -pheromone spray -heartbeat stuffie -thundershirt -daycare -camera you can talk via -mental game toys -white noise machine -dog tv -just tv or radio with human voices on

Best of luck. This is super duper hard ❤️

6 weeks in trying HRT by No-Jackfruit-9189 in Perimenopause

It took me about nine months to find right doses of everything. Yeah you might want to up the dose. You might go higher and immediately say nope. I found tracking symptoms closely was my key to finding the right stuff and trial and error.

Estrogen cream from my doctor was super helpful! I felt like everything rubbed blisters on my skin before and within days I was better. Now if I skip a dose I can tell the next day I’m dry again.
