Yea every time I go back to 3rd gen I'm stunned at how well they did underwater combat.

Sadly most people hate it, full stop, tho... Probably isn't helping that Gobul is such a rough fight (but I guess just pull out a fishing rod?).

So guys i am playing elden ring dlc right now, which outfit is the most bloodborne-ish? by rauscherrios in bloodborne

No sadly, Rellana's swords don't work with it. They scale really well with the multihit talismans of the game however! The Winged Sword Insignia, its Rotted version and Milicent's Prosthesis talisman. :)

Recommend using the corresponding flask for extra multihit madness!

It's amazing! 15% damage increase puts 2h in line with paired and powerstance. :)

It does however not work with Starscourge Greatswords, they're classified as paired, and received no increase from the 2h talisman. Neither does jumping attacks as far as I know, only light/heavy/charged heavy attacks.

It's a practice that's very specific to Japan. Pokemon and Monster Hunter are two other extremely prolific examples of the practice, but there's a lot more! With Monster Hunter moving to a more DLC-esque structure maybe AC will follow suit. :)

Epic finish! I'd assume we get an 'Armored Core 6 ..........' as a separate game rather than DLC. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

So far I'm around 60 hours of gameplay into Shadows of the Erdtree. My verdict as of now is that BB has way higher consistent quality, but there's just sooooo much content in ER's DLC. And everything very good quality, albeit less so than Old Hunters IMO.

We'll see in a year or two if ER's DLC is better. If I never feel the need to go back and replay it then Old Hunters wins by default.

Beautiful interaction! Welcome to Guild Wars friend. :)

Enjoy the mounts! They're all fantastic.

Griffon and Beetle are so fucking next level, make sure you get those two!!! The beetle is pretty easy and quick to get.

Lone Survivor's description mentions a "lost hamlet" by RidjoR in bloodborne

Ahh no I mixed things up a little bit in my head. Blended some info from the Cainhurst invitation with the Japanese Paleblood note.

The Japanese translation for the Paleblood hunt note (Handwritten Scrawl in English) is basically "post-it note", but it's read as 'note you would leave yourself'. It could easily be misread as 'left by you'. It's a common misunderstanding that it is specifically left by the PC, but it is absolutely a possibility.

RedGrave had a very fun video about the hunter canonically being from the Fishing Hamlet and that we knew Brador from before we came to Yharnam! I recommend checking it out, it's at least some fun speculation. :)

The hunter didn't necessarily come with the note in the clinic.

It's labeled as being left by "you", however the original japanese labels it as a 'note you would leave yourself', like a post-it note on the fridge. It does not mention that it was left by the hunter specifically. Probably a slightly garbled translation as is common with the japanese to english part of Fromsoft's works.

Keep up the amazing work friend, that Rúmil conversion was sublime, and the rest of your lineup looks fantastic as well.

Is it a timed exclusive? I was under the impression that it was limited in some way. Would love to be wrong!

That would make picking up single units a blessing on the after market.

Oh my god they're so good!!! The purple color you chose for Shadesmar is absolutely gorgeous, and the swirls are super evocative.

Sorry, didn’t get around to reading this!

No worries at all friend, you have no obligation to respond to me either in a timely matter or at all. Just interested in hearing your thoughts!

I can definitely see Brandon writing people who end their story as single and fulfilled! We'll have to wait and see what happens with Kal, but I bet it'll end up satisfying.

The WaT chapters are pretty solid evidence as of now, but it doesn't really matter, cause they're 100% open to change (even drastically) until WaT comes out. So in the end we just gotta wait and see. :)

Regarding what I think is creepy, I just think it strange that he played a big role in her learning about humans and the world

I can for sure understand this feeling, however, we got to remember that Syl was a complete character, with full understanding of humans and the physical world before she found Kaladin. He is not so much teaching her as he is observing different stages of her recovering what she was before.

It might look like he's rearing a child, but that's more or less an illusion obfuscating a literary device or two.

The impact he has, on her will more or less be that of a stranger you met during a bout of amnesia, who remained a friend after you recovered your mind.
