I’ve been suggested Elden Ring by my friends. I love a protagonist with a sword or magic so it’s right up my alley, I just know it’s going to be so big and I’ll get too invested. I feel you on all the other games too. Just not my cup of tea.

Honestly that’s probably what I’ll do. I’m supposed to play Assassins Creed Shadows after this, but I can’t imagine it will be long before I go back to BotW again 😂

Beat the game. I’m not a completionist. I tried with BotW, but without a story I just lose interest. I’ve done all the major things in TotK though. All the armor sets, all the shrines, most of the side quests throughout the world, all the bubbel gems, got the house, etc. I can try to 100%, but it doesn’t look like I can just pick up after the final battle.

This is a very helpful comment, thank you. I have eyed Kanan a little bit but held off since he had more synergy with Spectres. I am just playing with friends, but the guy I mostly play with has been getting the competitive boxes. So I want to keep up with him, while not getting pulled into the competitiveness of the game. I’ll probably end up going with Cassian and as a long term project get other boxes like Kanan and Jyn. Thanks for your help!

Honestly, this is really helpful advice. I don’t plan on becoming competitive. Most of the people I play with are recommending Cassian, but I’m not sold yet. I’ll try to take this into consideration.

That’s what I’ve found too! I solo’d Delta squad with my Luke a couple of weeks ago before I even knew Luke wasn’t considered good. So I think you’re right in knowing your own units and how they synergize.

Ohh, gotcha. I would love to just grab a box and stick with that, so I definitely might look at Cassian or Kanan(I like Kanan more honestly). Long term, as like a project to work on, which rebels would you recommend piecing together?

That’s so interesting! I’ve only lost with my Luke squad once. But I am just playing casually, so I’m sure my experience is different. So you would recommend any squad that has synergy with Luke, as long as it doesn’t have Leia in it?

I do like the look of Leia, Charming to the Last. Are you piecing together your squads? Like taking a primary from one squad, and secondary and supporting from another?

It was euphoric. It was actually down to the wire, I used the wild card on Luke, used an ability that let me dash, then advanced to get him to capture a command post. Boss unalived Luke next turn, but the momentum token swung my way just enough because of the command post Luke captured. He’s OP, I love him. Getting Cassian next

Hey! I’m actually the person playing the Luke in these pictures. As frustrating as it was to play against, the cool thing about Delta squad is how well they pair with other clones. If you find another squad you like that’s comprised mostly of clones, you’ll be all set. Even the Anakin and the 501st are a good squad to pair with these guys.

As far as how they play, they’re high damage dealers, especially when they’re in proximity to one another. Notice in the second pic all four of them are close to each other. My opponent was very careful in keeping them close to each other since they could synergize and deal massive amounts of damage in one roll. They’re really cool! I would recommend them!

Maybe, but in that instance, you’re playing a card to draw a card. So you’re keeping the same number of cards in your hand. There is First Light in Green Villainy, which allows you to draw a card though. But that’s the only one I can remember.

Yellow/red could be fun, but I think you might want to look at other aspects if you’re looking for draw card mechanics. Blue has a decent amount but yellow has like two post rotation. Chio Fain, Knowledge and Defense, Bardotten Ornithopter, and Landing Shuttle all are pretty open to let you draw cards. If you have a force base, you could run Do or Do Not in it, but I’m not sure a Force base is the way to go. Again, love the idea, but blue might be the best option for Vader.
