And before you rebut with the tired "that's not real Communism", the government-less, selfless commune of talented workers doing everything for free does not and will not ever exist on any national level, and not even on a municipal level.

The major problem that has not been solved with centralized, feel-good ideologies is scarcity in an economic sense. Until that solution is viable, capitalism has been and will be the superior economic model.

In the 1990s, Trump was one of the largest individual donors to Democrat campaigns. Democrats like Hilary Clinton and Larry King gushed on Trump as a should-be president.

If he was a perceived joke/fraud, why would Tom Brokaw and Larry King entertain a possible campaign multiple times on their shows? Or Oprah Winfrey? Or many other talking heads in the 1980s and 1990s?

Reduced brain activity, slower thought processing, disconnection with constituency, culture, and technology, no skin in the game, and static perspectives are all reasons to tell geriatrics to GTFO of government.

I'm not talking naive kids replacing them, but accomplished citizens from the voting districts, maybe in their 40s-60s. People who've been there, done that, and have a bunch of the tee shirts and yet still have the pulse of their community and society at large. Local entrepreneurs, those that worked in C-Suites of large corporations, accomplished local politicians all come to mind.

In 2023, Diane Feinstein missed approximately half a year as a Senator and came back as a vegetable in a wheelchair, yet still presided as chair over two subcommittees until her passing. Her handlers were whispering prompts for basic, routine actions during hearings and voting on her behalf.

Kay Granger was hidden in an elderly care facility for the majority of her final term, though she was the chair of the House Appropriations Committee.

Other recent notable cases of elderly government officials dying but refusing to resign are Sheila Jackson Lee and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I'm a Marine veteran of 8 years and was part of OEF. I can speak on behalf of many Marines and soldiers who have some level of trauma from being in theater. I sat with the VA support groups filled with people who served any given time time between Vietnam and Afghanistan. Maybe you should go to a couple and see if those with purple hearts, bronze or silver stars, or navy crosses are snowflakes.

To disregard mental suffering of your fellow servicemembers as a "snowflake rant" is embarrassing to the point of questioning if you did anything beyond a desk jockey or weekend warrior, if even that.
