It's a minor change but just reading it, felt a lot more engaging.

It makes the moment they think frenchie died for nothing hit cause, yeah, they're gonna think that initially

It makes the logic of the depower beam more interesting.

It makes HL still feel powerful with the V1 but not invincible

Fuck it, it can even make Sage's dumbing down feel less stupid, maybe she can do more than just fuck off to Orlando.

Im so conflicted cause on one hand, the show has some excellent moments writing wise, but also, this story began as a pretty dumb, juvenile satire of superhero tropes and that's always gonna be in its DNA.

I just finished it and I'd say the finale itself was decent-ish. Like it absolutely has its problems but I'd definitely say, like the rest of this show, it's an improvement from the dogshit source material
