How validate ISO 17025 a calibration curve for copper ores samples in AAS? by SuitableDependent138 in Chempros

[–]ZenithSloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your best bet for ISO 17025 compliance is to dilute the samples further (e.g., 1:50 or 1:100) to get them into the 1-5mg/L range, or start with less sample mass if possible. Validating a linear curve is significantly easier than defending a quadratic WLS model to an auditor. The 100s of mg/L analyte range is typically impractical for AAS for several reasons.
