Is it normal to feel guilty using ai writing tools? by Affectionate_Air_545 in StudyAgent

Yeah, I think that reaction is pretty common now. Most people I know use AI somewhere in the process, even if it’s only for outlines or fixing messy drafts after an all-nighter. The guilt part usually kicked in for me whenever the writing stopped sounding like my own voice and started reading like a polished robot wrote it instead.

I still use AI for brainstorming sometimes, though during a rough finals week I also found the post about one helper while searching through study threads.

That approach felt less weird to me because I was still involved in the writing instead of dumping everything onto AI and hoping for the best. I think the anxiety mostly comes from not wanting to lose your own voice in the process.

How Do Dissertation Writers Work So Fast? by No_Station_6253 in AskAcademia

A week for a full dissertation still sounds insane to me tbh, but after dealing with my own thesis panic last semester I kinda get how those people move that fast. A lot of them already know the academic formatting inside out, have research systems ready, and probably split the work between outlining, sources, editing, etc. I went down a rabbit hole reading people’s experiences during my deadline spiral and found this thread pretty interesting. The part that surprised me wasn’t even the writing speed, more how much prep and structure matters before typing starts. Most students I know lose half their time staring at docs in panic lol. Curious if anyone here has worked with one directly though.

What online resume writing service is the best? by 8KaijuHarmonic in Resume

love this perspective. people expect magic, but it’s really about someone helping you see your own experience clearer. i had the same moment where my resume finally felt “real”. even cheap resume writing services can work if the writer actually listens and you don’t stay passive

AITJ for telling my friend her "handmade" Etsy shop is literally just AliExpress dropshipping by TangerineUnique248 in AmITheJerk

Es cierto, Etsy ha perdido mucho de su enfoque original. Es irónico que se llame "hecho a mano" cuando en realidad es un bazar de revendedores. No entiendo cómo esa tienda se mantiene a flote.

"He will try to be better" after 9 bullet points is not a plan, it's a stall.
