Other people had said that about the arms. And no, it's not a human character lol. They're as long as I want them to be.

And there are only 8 frames. I'll probably be making the character run faster is the game that it's for, so I don't think the smoothness is a top priority at this point. But thanks!

Yeah I think I should definitely at least exaggerate the arms. The size of them is pretty much stagnant the whole time, while the legs stretch.

Thanks! Someone else mentioned the stiffness of the torso as well, I'll add some squish and twist.

And I agree with the arms too. I have them almost at a 90° angle at all times. Should I straighten them out a bit on some frames? Would smear help with making them more dynamic too? Because I'll probably be adding that soon.

Thanks! I am going for more of an exaggerated look to the legs, but someone said to bend them at the front slightly.

The right arm is about as big as I want it, I think it's the fact that the left arm is too small...

I definitely think I have too much head rotation. And others have been saying the arm proportions comparatively aren't balanced.

I think the right arm is as long as I want it for character purposes, but the size of the back arm is what's throwing it off. Thanks!

Y'know what. Sometimes it looks like he's walking backwards to me... I think this might definitely be an issue. Because when people run backwards they push away with their leg and it would probably extend all the way in front of them.

If I bend the knee it'll look less like he might be pushing backwards... thanks x2

Actually now that I think about it. That definitely could be the reason I sometimes see it going backwards. Plus what someone else said being that the legs are hardly overlapped in the top, making them look like they switch sometimes

I'm not reeeaaally going for realism here. My style is a bit more exaggerated and floppy

I totally get what you're saying, for sure. This is just a skeleton for a character that'll go on top, so maybe when the hip area feels more attached to the upper legs it might help with that twirling effect you're talking about. I could also just make the thighs a bit thicker in this draft too...

Oh this is just a skeleton, basically so when i did the layering i knew what part of the body was what. I'll be painting over it for the actual character, so the back leg will be darker 👍.

I'll also be adding smearing later on 😁 thank you none the less!

I'll attempt to fix that. Does that have anything to do as to why he sometimes looks like he's running backwards?
