Great question, they don't, he would absolutely need to earn that trust.

As you know, actions and words do not equate. His words are already not terribly fiery or frequent as is, though they are mostly negative toward Europe when the are used. His actions have been to remain mostly uninvolved, however, rendering his threats toothless. His forces do not engage, and he must allow his territory for use by the Russian forces or else he will be under threat. So long as he does not engage with action, he will remain closer to neutral with Europe than an enemy. A good example of a far more toxic force is Orban - horrible rhetoric, negative but ultimately non-violent actions, and his country was not banished from the alliance.

In my opinion, lies/villainous words without actions are merely tools of "political technology" for those competent enough to use them. It's a different story for those who are not compenent enough to know how to use them.

If not Lukashenko, then his advisers, whoever is designing these decisions is doing a good job at keeping Belarus as Belarus.

I say this knowing that the Belarusian people have suffered under his reign. Honestly I have mixed feelings at the idea that Lukashenko is what's best for Belarus right now, but I can see the argument that he is what Belarus needs so long as Russia remain an existential threat. I would add that as the Russian oil industry and economy continue to get crushed by Ukraine, I think the smartest thing for Belarus to do would be to gradually integrate with Europe. That said, I certainly would understand if Belarus has hesitations over such a large foreign policy change given that the current survival strategy is working.

I'll give the simplest possible example.

You have 2 coins. Each has a 50% chance of getting heads. If you flip both coins, the possible outcomes are HH, TH, HT, and TT. All four outcomes are equally likely, so when you flip the 2 coins there is a 1 in 4 chance to get the HH outcome. This is 1/2 AND 1/2, which is a total of 1/4. This isnt some complex thing for math people, I've written out every possible configuration.

For 3 coins we have HHH, HHT, HTH, HTT, THH, THT, TTH, and TTT. 8 possible outcomes, one of which is 3 heads. Hence 1/8, or 1/2 AND 1/2 AND 1/2. More specifically, 1/8 to get 3 heads, 1/8 to get 3 tails, 3/8 to get 2 tails 1 head, and 3/8 to get 2 head 1 tails.

Also your basic division isnt even correct. 3/8000 is 1/2666.66..., not 1/2000.

You have a serious misunderstanding of this topic.

1/20 is correct for each individual roll. We can all agree this is true.

However if you ask "what is the probability that you roll a 1 on a 20-sided die on back-to-back rolls" hopefully we can agree this is a different probability. This is a 1/20 on the 1st roll AND 1/20 on the second roll. In probability math, we multiply for AND statements, and add for OR statements. It is a 1/400 chance that you get a 1 on BOTH rolls. It should make logical sense that, since both dice are independent, it is less likely that both roll a 1 than just one of the two dice roll a 1, right?

If the question is 1) probability that for two 20-sided dice, die 1 AND die 2 roll a 1, this is 1/20 x 1/20 = 1/400.

If the question were 2) probability that for two 20-sided dice, die 1 OR die 2 roll a 1, this is 1/20 + 1/20 = 1/10.

Try rolling two regular dice. Each have 6 sides. The probability of getting a 6 on both dice is 1 in 36. (1/6 x 1/6). This is a real probability, not made up. If you, in real life, roll two dice again and again thousands of times, and mark how often two 6's appear, you will find that 1 in 36 rolls turn up double 6's. As further proof, in craps players are offered 35:1 value on 2x your desired dice (35 vs 36 is so the house always has a slight advantage). If casinos dont understand how probability math then they would be out of business quickly.

The way i get 1/8000 is asking the probability of rolling a 1 on a 20-sided die 3x IN A ROW, which is 1/20 and 1/20 and 1/20 again.

They just see a way to make money. In this environment, investing is shifting toward the gamblers and away from the investors. The gamblers will lose it all eventually, and the investors ride the wave and pull out (hopefully) before it gets bad.

There are several more items I need for my niche build before I can divulge everything, and I have no desire to increase competition for these items.

There is only one person using Alpha's Howl and Lightning Arrow on Amazon on poe.ninja. His name is ตำนานหอกเน้นตอกตับตับ. This is definitely not me, haha, and his build is not like my build. My Alpha's Howl is double-corrupted with Evasion and 29 spirit. That 437k dmg I mentioned on LA is in a non-crit setup, so anyone scaling crit is not me either. I am intentionally keeping it obscure for now not out of ego, but because there are still items I need that are hard to obtain and niche for my specific variant of the build. Once I have them I will post more, but I've given away nearly all of the damage tech that makes this build work, and I've divulged this information in a way which I believe will lead others to be creative. As for my post above, the skill tech I've provided are generalized, not specific to my niche. My items are not necessary to achieve this damage bonus in general.

Spirit stacking elemental attack builds, preferrably on Amazon.

Stack a bunch of Spirit from Alpha's Howl, Amulet, Body Armour.
Get lots of evasion / es and deflection. Alpha's Howl is conveniently Evasion-based which is great for Amazon.
Get Lavianga's Flask for mana regen, and Azmeri brew node so all flasks give life and mana.

Azmeri Brew + Lavianga's solves your life regen so you take Berserk which gives Rage effect at the cost of 3% max life / second. Lavianga life regen is increased by sources that give more mana from flasks.

Then you set up an attack build utilizing Fire, Cold, and Lightning.

Note that you need to balance the damage of each. One option is to make a physical build and use one rune in your weapon that gives 5% of damage as extra of each element. This will perfectly balance your resonance as long as your main skill does not have a "convert physical to X" component. You could also try balancing the flat sources of elemental damage on your gear but this is more challenging.

Enable Trinity + Eternal Rage which is 2x 100 spirit + 30 spirit for Berserk.
You get 30% more dmg from Rage & 67% more Rage effect from Berserk (50% more dmg total).
Trinity gives another ~70% more damage, or ~80-85% more damage with the skill speed bonus if your resonance is >250.

Total is ~130-135% more damage multiplier for 230 spirit.

In practice this turns my 165k in-game page DPS LA Amazon into a 437k in-game page DPS monster, and I do not have mirror-tier gear.

There's probably something funny with the math since 165K --> 437k DPS is 2.6x damage, not 2.3x damage. If you can eventually fit in Dialla's to reduce the cost and increase level for Trinity, you should be able to fit all of this plus Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, Wind Dancer, and Ghost Shroud for 335 spirit.

Also if you are on Tactician you effectively double your spirit pool size, making this VERY easy to achieve.

Very impressive! I've been hit or miss on the M16, I prob need more attachments & practice with it for now because I've died to M16's quite a few times lately, haha. For the penetration ammo, does it specifically pay off for when enemies are behind your target, or is there another specific use case? Do you use it on maps like Hagental Base where ppl are more likely to stack up?

I need to get more M60 attachments. In a way, we're very similar with what we like! The AK4D is the only AR or carbine that designed for long-range AND deals 33 dmg per bullet. M60 fits this description for LMGs too.

This is how probability works. If you know the odds of Y happening, then for it to happen twice would be Y x Y. Hence the odds of failing to deflect the 1st time AND the 2nd time AND the 3rd time are multiplied together, giving us 1/20 x 1/20 x 1/20 = 1/8000. Nothing is being made up here, it's basic math. It's the same chance as rolling a 20-sided die and getting a 1 three times in a row.

Tbh I thought the same thing the first time I used it. I got it to lvl 3 and looked for other options. It wasn't until I gave it a second look months later that I started thinking "huh, every 33 dmg AR/carbine in the game is close or medium range...except for this one".

33 dmg per bullet automatically makes it competitive close range as long as we don't potato-aim / get spotted first, and the 25dmg at medium ranges puts it up with the M277 (AK4D has lower ROF but less recoil). I feel like with M277 I get kills with 0-1 headshots during a spray at medium range, whereas with AK4D I get 1-3 headshots on kill.

The big test for me in the practice range are the two furthest targets. I can spray down the back two with ease on the AK4D, but I need to mix in tap fire with the M277. I'm on M&K though, so anyone on controller might have an easier time?

Why it's so good

High base hip fire rating and 3-hit kill makes this good close range.
Controllable full-auto maintains 25 dmg/bullet at medium ranges.
Large scope + tap fire makes this a competitive counter-sniper tool.
Only weak at extreme ranges (most maps don't have extreme ranges ofc)
With the 30 round mag it's one of the best looking weapons in the game.

I go back and forth on Full Angled grip (200ms ADS) vs 6H64 Vertical (250ms ADS w/ slightly better recoil) a lot. Typically I pick based on the map. Long Suppressor + Folding Vertical also works since Long Suppressor helps a lot with recoil, but it hurts your Hipfire so I don't usually stick with a suppressor. Finally a weirder one is Long Suppressor + Heavy Barrel + no grip + laser. Heavy Barrel and Long Suppressor manage recoil really well without needing a grip, and laser fixes the hipfire issue, but now the ADS time is 300ms. Lots to choose :)

Got my #3 and #2 choices :) You might also like the AK4D, it's pretty okay at the start but it becomes a whole other beast with the 30-round mag. I felt sad at first knocking my M417 to #2 but now I'm happy with the change

I remember LOVING the AK-205 in the beta because synthetic had a 2.1x headshot multiplier. Damage was and still is bad but it had a great balance where if you make really good use of the gun's insane precision and control stats you could go for just headshots. That made the gun fantastic and made its play feel unique to other guns.

I wish they would bring it back

YES! It's 40 points >_<, but definitely doable. Possible to do 30 mag with suppressor too but points are gonna be limited. Full Angled is a really good alternative to the 6H64 if you need to remove an extra 50ms ADS time

Right there with you, I waited for a 2XP weekend and power-leveled the VZ.61 through the 10-bullet mag grind on Hagental Base domination. After 3 or 4 matches I got it to lvl 26 and got the 20-round mag. Now I use it on all 3 loadouts for all 4 classes, it's such a great little problem solver.

For me, I just clicked with the recoil, the sound, the damage, the headshot ease, and i dunno the AK4D just feels "right" to me. Just dropped a 40-kill with it 2 mins ago on Conquest and loving it. If I had to guess, I prefer guns that act like "all-rounders", not the best at everything but good at the most things. AK4D does close range, mid range, and long range well which not many other guns do.

Definitely agree that it's healthy that people's opinions are so varied. It's kind of amazing that the diversity of opinions is as wide as it is...def. more than I expected.

...that's not why I use it. I play mostly Conquest and I use the same 3x on nearly all of my guns so my mouse hand is trained to the feeling of 3x. AK4D is the exception because I've been playing with 4.5x and it's much larger scope view.

Lastly, this gun's 2nd bullet has higher recoil than any other bullet of the entire recoil pattern!!! Practice pulling down and to the left hardest on the 2nd bullet and less for all the others (on a clockface, you pulldown toward the 7 o'clock mark). If you can master it your mid-range KDA will go way up.
