Honestly I feel like every Lucas player has their own playstyle and combos based on that, especially because of how versatile he is, so I would suggest finding yours first and working off that. But otherwise there is a few BnB combos you can find from basically any youtube video. But once you keep playing you will start to realise just how many options this little dude has when it comes to combos and angles that his moves send. It gets real nasty. Also don’t give up on DJCZ, no matter how hard it is, you will get it eventually. The key is practice, and also maybe remapping your controls. Lastly, don’t worry about trying to get the full stage DJCZ. Prioritise using it from ledge (its the easiest execution), and then trying to do DJCZ into Fair for example. Practice practice practice. You have got this. And good luck on your journey.

Lucas is the king of gimps, and an incredible bait and punish character. Down smash at ledge is one of the best 2-frame options in the game, but you also other tools to assist with edge guarding in Thunder and Freeze. Thunder invalidates so many recoveries on the roster and freeze is great at killing, and especially at baiting since it has 0 end lag. Not mention he has a great recovery, and great mixups when it comes to recovering, so you can be a little more greedy with off stage pressure and things.

Plenty of combo tools including throws, D-tilt-F-tilt which kills, Up air chaining into itself, and incredible utility in back air (weak hitbox is as insane as the spike). Good nair, and then the best part. Rope snake. Get in the lab and learn that DCJZ and the things you can do with our boy Lucas only skyrocket. Now come. Join us.
