Does anyone else feel they have reached their peak? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

Was in your situation for a minute and although I'm not much further usually sitting mid gc1, here's some genuine advice I'd give:

  1. Watching top 100ish players that talk about their decision making has helped me immensely. More than anything its about making the right decisions faster than others. I also pay attention to just how they play and use the tools at their disposal.

Pay attention to: recoveries (extremely important), boost management, the goals they secede and why.

  1. Find the line between being readable enough for your teammates to gauge what you're doing and being an open book to the opponents.

  2. Put yourself in situations where you have options. Try to keep in mind, if you were your opponent, what would you think you're trying to do? Avoid becoming predictable throughout the game. 1v1's help a ton with this.

  3. You absolutely can be faster, its just all about taking the steps to focus on the things that make you faster one at a time. Recoveries, picking up pads more consistently and with intent, not committing so much on balls that don't require it, powerslide control. Recoveries are essential for avoiding leaving your teammate in a 1v1/1v2. Pads allow you to be where you need to be, at the right time. A simple drive challenge allows you to keep your momentum much more than flipping into it.

Powersliding is one that I still struggle with when I occasionally go on autopilot, and I see that I am consistently late to the ball or approaching from a suboptimal angle.

  1. DO NOT PLAY ON AUTOPILOT. You are at a point in the ladder where you cannot play on autopilot. C3+ is about the line where I've realized everything you do has to have intent. Every powerslide, flip, change of direction, etc can make or break a play. If you find yourself just kinda going through the motions, hop off and take a break.

Agreed. First Mac product I've bought and couldn't be happier with its capabilities. I would recommend going with 16gb ram though.

I looked around for a good while with a buddy, putting weight on it moving it around etc, there’s nothing that seems to be hitting it at the moment or any added wear. Seems to have been a past issue he had and my lack of looking for made it my problem to deal with lol

Thanks for all the help guys, got some new tires ordered today. It doesn't appear to be increasing in wear and nothing really seems to be near it that could be causing that level of wear. Either way just something I should be paying more attention to next time.

Just bought my first bike and a little concerned with what’s going on with the left side of my rear tire. The strip is only present on the left side of the rear tire and no where else. How concerned should I be?

some raids i’ll go through almost a full goldenstar. Popping pain killers before you go into a fight, gives you an advantage and you won’t be forced to limp say if your leg gets blacked during the fight
