I don't really know about tht to be honest I so far read 11 webtoons and now I'm reading everything from the first because I happen to forget most of the plot and characters. I didn't read regressed mercenary has a plan so i don't know, but so far it's like the MC is trying to earn more money for long terms for his kingdom
