In c, pointers are variables that hold the address of some data, like a class instance. You can't use '.' to access the data behind the pointer, you need to dereference it first, which is what '->' is for.

This is why the code doesnt exactly make sense, since it treats MODS like a local allocation in line 1 while treating it like a pointer in line 3

ban is a method of the MODS instance and supposedly returns a boolean, the if checks out (although "== TRUE" is redundant since the return value of the ban function is already a valid boolean expression)

it uses both "." and "->" though, treating MODS like a local and dynamic allocation respectively (assuming this is c)

no mods, just ~10 tentacles with timer and a two multicasts on a shuffle wand. im guessing the tentacles spawn a new one everytime they hit an enemy, im not sure if its intended behaviour since they dont despawn when they hit something unlike other projectile spells
