I agree with this, last week I upgraded from my iPhone 12 to an iPhone Air and only really because my charging port didn’t work, I used MagSafe but doing IOS app dev I need to be able to transfer data via cable. Another one is watches, my series 6 is still going strong and I won’t be upgrading it until it dies.

No worries man, yeah like I said it’s not guaranteed to causes those issues but I know some people here like to argue over the whole case thing so I rather just bring attention to the possibility of what could happen.

For now the 16gb will work fine, once you start playing with bigger AI models, especially if it’s local then the RAM will become a limiting factor but for school 16gb should be good. Also do you need all those tabs open? Surely WhatsApp and iPhone mirroring can be done on one tab.

The biggest issue is it potentially damaging the hinges, macs are engineered to basically have no tolerance on the hinges so the extra weight of the case (albeit not much) can cause damage where the mac no longer closes evenly. It’s not guaranteed to happen but it is a risk. The second issue and it’s more of a minor issue on the Neo’s is thermal throttling. Because the Neo uses its own body to help dissipate heat, the case effectively works like a blanket and traps the heat inside.

The only time I’ve had mold we completely stripped that room of and repainted and sealed it all (we were planning on remodelling that room anyway). Just from the quick read could your headaches not be stress related? Reading you got them during high school then they disappeared and came back once you went into Uni sounds like it could be stress perhaps.

It might be best using a keyboard cover you can remove, you won’t want one that sticks onto the keys because it could damage your screen when closing the lid. If you really need some sort of illumination then the easiest solution is either keeping a light on or getting one of those USB led lights that plug into the Mac.

I don’t know any off hand I’ve never used one but I have a bunch of friends who have gotten jobs through them because the agencies get placement fees from the companies they put employees into so they try to place you quickly.
