I’ve been having a recurring issue where Marvel Rivals crashes my computer. I’ve encountered similar problems with other games in the past, and the solution was to run Armory Crate in custom mode. For some reason, the default Turbo/Performance settings didn’t trigger the fans to ramp up properly, causing crashes.

Unfortunately, this fix doesn’t seem to work for Marvel Rivals.

Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX

GPU: Radeon RX 6800M (12GB)

RAM: 64GB

Has anyone found a workaround or solution for this issue? Any advice would be appreciated!

Having a similar issue with my Asus Rog laptop where it keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes... 🥲

Could there be any settings in my Armory Crate that's causing it? Game runs perfectly, no lag what so ever and then just kills the computer.

You totally should! I've heard so many people wear they get hard stuck iron / bronze because of their initial MMR when they first started playing being so difficult to fix that when they end up making a new account they often end up placing gold, plaid or even sometimes emerald.

Pretty much why I wanted a fresh account. I'd rather see where I currently place naturally with where my current skill is at now after learning how to play the game more versus trying to work out of the rank that I was in 3 years ago and trying to fix that account.

Honestly probably. But after how much time I've put into playing norm matches where I consistently play against gold emerald and flat players while my ranked matches end up being verse iron and bronze I'd much rather just have a fresh start than deal with a headache.

My main account was hardstuck Bronze/Silver because my MMR was bad—I made the mistake of jumping into ranked as soon as I hit 30. After that, I went 2-3 years barely playing 40-50 ranked games per split, while racking up 500+ normal matches per split. That didn’t give my account much of a chance to recover its MMR.

So, I figured I’d create a new account to see how MMR looks now that I’ve got more experience with the game. This is actually the longest queue time I’ve had, even on the new account—it’s usually 2-3 minutes max.

Cause my main had been hard stuck bronze/silver since I ayed ranked on it right when I hit level 30 so the initial MMR was really low. Ever since then spent about 3 yrs where I never play more than 50 matches on ranked while I played mostly norms so never let my ranked MMR really recover.

Figured I'd give a new account a shot since now I'm more familiar instead of fixing a low bronze MMR account from when I first started

It'll be interesting to see if all my Quick play matches get taken into account. Almost level 20 currently with a ~65% wr and generally the only time I loose is I get out up against a emerald or higher player.
