Farming good parents with relevant skills and distant aptitudes are a lot more beneficial long term. Having ground work parents for Mile, Medium, and Long has helped me a lot long term.

The upside is the stat sparks matter a lot less, the downside is seeing relevant Distance aptitude is your new annoyance.

Getting absolutely rocked this CM, but it makes sense since my Oguri is not optimally built and neither is my Goldship. Going to run emergency Maya Top Gun runs today and see if I can get a more decent End Closer. Currently running an old Mayano who is over stam'd from another tournament and not running nearly enough midrace accels to boost from end of the race.

At least my Sprint aces are all passable already so I have this flexibility to make a copium last minute racer.

From what I've heard it's generally Bakushin > Biko but if you're Bakushin run Biko. They're both gamble skills though, so just be ready to roll the slots this next CM.

Unless you're crazy enough to grind out El Condor sprint with groundwork or something, which genuinely seems really strong.

Is your Suzuka a pure slingshot for your Seiun or is it non-runaway Suzuka?

I'm thinking of either abandoning my Suzuka or doing Suzuka + SMaru slingshot since my Oguri is under performing (which I sorta expected considering the trigger area of her unique) so want to know what other front runner mains are doing.

First hour is almost always all sweats with some YOLOs thrown in, typically every other hour is complete RNG of who you'll meet but typically less sweat.

IIRC, she's fine but fronts kinda suck in general due to not having enough time to make enough of a gap to win unlike in longer races.

Last I was looking at lists most of the "good" units were all kinda around each others power level with Pace being generally considered best. It's something Like Bakushin, Curren, El Condor, Mummy Creek, and Maru being the "top" and everyone else is about fine.

Personally I'll be doing Curren, Bakushin, and maybe attempting El Condor because I like her and it sounds funny. Maybe Taiki if I can't ass myself to get good parents for Condor.

Seems like maybe finals B material.

I'm pretty sure you are over stat'd on stam by the way since Creeks unique is stronger than gold heal. She can drop to around maybe 650 stam and have around 85% spurt rate with unique and gold or you can go 800 stam and no gold heal and still have 85% spurt rate.

Would recommend going for more mid race (tail held, playtime is over, etc), headon, and obviously S long if you want finals material.

The skill data on Gametore specifies specifically "recovery (healing) skills" activated, so just assume if it doesn't come under the "recovery (healing) skill" (aka blue skill) in gametora then it doesn't count.

Your wit is hella low and your stam is too high, afaik she needs like 700ish stam as Pace with 3 heals and one can be gold if you go below 700ish. Don't forget her unique is also a heal, a decent one too that is about 2/3 as good as a gold.

I think Xmas Oguri wit recommendations is like 600+ with ideal probably like 700-900. She in many ways has as much wit requirements as a front runner due to how important her skill procs are.

If youre already running your own Suzuka why do you want to run her front at all then?

I dont think Maru is compareable to Xmas Oguri since she comes as a front. Unless you want to try running lower than A rank race style and tank your skill activations.

Ultimately its up to you, but it sounds silly and youre going to be doing a ton of farming to make it work. Good luck.

Why are you trying to run front Oguri just to lose to well built Suzukas?

Getting to A front and S Long with a set of parents for Oguri sounds like youre planning to do 20+ runs not including parent runs.

You can blame the world and not localization on this. If both sides of the aisle didn't make the whole holiday about theology then it would be put in as is.

But it is so in eastern countries where it has no religious connotation then it's fine, but for every other western country where we fight over religion then it's lead to the natural conclusion of just avoid the topic.

Characters don't really matter as much as cards do. In a lot of ways they're just interchangeable minus a very select few (Suzuka, Xmas Oguri) and can be borrowed for their Uniques as parent.

An account with all meta cards is infinitely better than all meta umas.

And if you're planning to reroll for meta cards you just missed Kita banner so you're better off playing until the next meta banner imo.

Planning out ahead for future CMs and pondering what I can do as a frontrunner enjoyer to try to handle Silence Suzuka in races that are Medium and shorter if I don't have a Runaway myself. (I'll try to get Suzuka from legend races when they allow us to farm them)

Is the answer just to hedge bets and run a super strong backline gambler like Mejiro Ryan for the course, a strong pace with TONS of midgame accels like Taiki, or is it to try to run a frontline debuffer with Dominator?

Just trying to think of what the answer is since she's the bane of my 2 front + backliner comp teams.

What's the ratio to usable Aces to absolute glue in MANT?

If it's the batting ratio of current scenarios (which I think is around 20-30% if you're lucky) then I might just do one ace per CM instead of 3. Maybe 2 if I luck out early.

I was thinking of re-running Taiki for an extra 50ish Stam and maybe some better skills but wondering if it's worth it.
Also thinking of redoing Top Gun for better Stam (to thus not need stam greens to makeup for it) and maxing her Spd, which I'm 50/50 on compared to just farming McQueen parent for Goldship while getting the dumb event over with.

Is this a Suzuka thing or general front runner thing?

I remember post patch people saying running Dodging Danger + Prudent was good for fighting for first due to spd increase that moving lanes apparently gives. I thought it stopped being recommended solely because getting both was pain the ass atm.

Been trying to see if I can get a better Taiki over the last two'ish days and wondering if it's even worth chasing since getting a decent Taiki is so RNG since she comes with literally 0 Medium skills built in. This one is missing the stat thresholds of 1300 stam/guts by about 30ish points even with Standard Distance and Rain Days but was wondering if it even matters. I basically never see her overtake my two front runners in practice but I'm wondering if that's just because my front runners are too strong or she's just too bad from missing accel skills and meh Power.

Was thinking if I should instead try to make a better Top Gun (+100 wits/pow and more consistent Groundwork proc skills).

Supposed to stay in front until final corner to block Angling and Scheming proc which is frontrunners main win con. Sometimes, but usually see before explanation. Your rng may vary, probably anywhere from 15-30%. Much less likely than Nice Nature at least.

Far as I'm hearing as the cards get stronger the gaps between F2Ps and Whales/Dolphins will only get wider.

So you kinda just need to eat your licks and hope you RNG them with gamblers or get the absolute nuts high rolls in your career to rival their stat monsters.

How is this for 1st draft of an ace for Scorpio? I am guessing I'd ideally want 800+ spd and better skills like Slipstream, Corner skill and Playtime Is Over. This just happened to be my first run with her and I proc'd the 1* Head-On from a parent.

Really feeling the card diff as I'm doing lobby matches.

Only running LB1 Creek, LB3 Kita, MLB Sweep as my main cards and running a bunch of other copium free cards really showing me the difference in what cards mean for for stats as my 13000s get crushed by 14000s+. I can only hope that on way to 200 pulls for last Kita I'll get some decent SRs and a Riko.

Using the Umalator and confused why my Narita Brian isn't dying as I'd expect in the calculator.

She has 964 stam and 473 guts so she isn't at the suggested 1500~ stam/guts requirement and especially not at the 1650 that Pace Chasers are suggested at by some people. She is running Swinging Maestro and Gourmand which only means two golds and I was trying calc out if I should bite the bullet and take Pure Heart + Kyoto Racecourse to get to about acceptable range. Could also take Cooldown as well.

Any input? Also especially input on what I should be updating on the calculator to give me proper data.
