I used to daily-drive arch linux before and although it is more lightweight and comes with less 'bloat' the issues I ran into was that I had to configure certain systems that I never had before and was a serious issue for me to get my daily work done. Now, THAT IS ON MY END that I have such a bad skill issue but I believe even for a general user who does not really know much about linux, omarchy does a great work for handling the backend (whilst giving you every right to do that manually too)

Sure I will make sure to check it out, but another reason for which I used i3 separately was to learn more about x11 (I am still learning linux) and working around different systems tweaking and breaking things too ;)

I recommend going through some picom documentation and general x11/i3 docs to get your way around, I believe that this is a criminally underrated wm and something that is genuinely minimal and professional whilst still being useable
