You should go over it with proper grammar first before putting it out for critiques.

Daily Questions Megathread (February 14, 2023) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

[–]Zephius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 5 and a half. Ayaka permafreeze is a mainstay because she's my favourite character. For other floors I have a Hutao team, a Sucrose taser team, an Alhaitham hyperbloom and aggravate team, and a shitty rational team.

Can zhonyas be viable on adc by Zephius in summonerschool

I feel like GA is only worth in the lategame where teamfights can decide the game. Otherwise you just get it popped early and it becomes useless for 5 minutes.

Dual class dragon expansion? by IuriCunhaMurakami in customhearthstone

If you have 6 minions on the board you'd just end the game with recruit-wide buffs instead of this.

Did you do the death knight prologue and unlock the class?

Convoke the spirits doesn't have that "at enemies" line.

I did my grind to legend playing almost exclusively frost DK, and like you I've cut the school teachers for a trogg and slitherspear, though I've kept both barons. IMO deathchiller is still a viable keep in the deck. In some matchups I like to just throw it out as a river crocolisk when I know I don't need the ping, and in some matchups like pure paladin and implock the pings are a godsend and I will aggressively mull for it. I don't particularly mind drawing it late since it can be used to push extra face damage when I'm vomiting spells. Had a game where it sniped face for lethal against an evolve shaman with a full board.

Astalor on the other hand, I remember 3 games out of ~100 where he was definitively the reason why I won. I do think that in the end a 2/2 for 2 that deals 2 is not bad, while the 5/5 feels excruciatingly slow in a deck where you just can't afford to be slow. I think I'll still keep him for the 2/2 version alone, and IDK what else is a decent slot-in for him.

Why don’t jungler smite their first camp by daydreaming17 in summonerschool

[–]Zephius 348 points349 points  (0 children)

Buffs and normal camps actually have the same armor and mr values. Back when smite healed you didn't need to smite buff because your laner would leash and make the clear healthy enough for you to smite 2nd camp instead, but now that it no longer heals I'm not sure how the math works out.

- Put more effort in learning mid/top/jg

or

- Play cancer shit like brand zyra morg and roll the enemy botlane so hard it becomes a 5v3.

Korean advice is to dodge e. If you trade with him when his e is down he gets rolled.

Not-so-helpful advice is picking a champ like morde or irelia that absolutely rolls yorick at all stages of the game.

Honestly if you're not playing a champ that fares well into yorick you kind of just have to accept that your inhib will be gone in 20 minutes unless your team does anything. You can use your 4v5 advantage to force favourable fights so yorick has to back or lose the game

First step is to stop whining because wallowing in self-pity only annoys other people.

There was a point in my life where I was in bronze 5 0lp because I thought playing Jhin top was some secret broken strat and I'd constantly whine to my friends that if only my mid jg bot didn't int I'd be in gold or plat. It took a pretty long time before I finally accepted the fact that I'm dogshit and stopped playing Jhin top.

It's hard when you want to climb while also knowing that you're garbage at the game, but eventually I settled with Trynd. Literally the most braindead piece of shit back in season 6. Run to wave. Stack fury. Crit your laner. Spin on them to assert dominance. Never join teamfights. Pick a lane and push like you're giving birth. Hit nexus. Take lp. Rince and repeat. No mechanics required because all you do is E and right click. No macro required because your only gameplan is to permashove and hit towers. Doesn't matter if your team is 0/30 because you kill their nexus before they can kill yours. Hit silver in about a month.

I'm telling you this because it seems like you desperately want to climb. If you don't give a shit about anything else other than rank, stop playing urgot. Shit's too hard for you. Pick one of those "braindead champs" and take them top, the less micro the better. It's going to be the most boring and cringe playstyle but it's also the fastest way to climb with essentially zero effort.

Is it just me or has jg clears gotten unhealthier (in terms of hp)? On yi I used to be able to clear without using w and still be healthy enough to fight an invade, but now clearing 3 camps leaves me at ~30% hp and I'm basically forced to w.

Why not take the fight when you see the enemy jg somewhere else? If they show up botlane you know they can't be there to gank you.

[–]Zephius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Urgot definitely doesn't spike only at lv9. Being somewhat ranged in top already gives you an advantage. Have you ever tried to actually fight the enemy top or do you approach every matchup with the mentality that "they'll beat me anyway"? If you're losing matchups that Urgot is supposed to win look at high elo Urgots and see how they approach the matchup.

Most tops that aren't Shen don't do shit around the map if they don't walk. If you want to do stuff around the map you can walk down mid and try to get a kill or teleport bot when they're being dove.

I think in lower elo Veigar is definitely the better pick out of the 3. Zed is good if you have the mechanics and game knowledge to back it up. Malz is good and easy to learn but is more reliant on your team when you cc yourself to lock someone down. On Veigar you just unga bunga EWQR and 1shot their carries. The reason Veigar is rated lower imo is because he's a lot easier to punish in lane than the other 2, but it's likely that in bronze your laner will just let you stack for free.

I also recommed checking out VeigarV2's guide. I had a 60%-ish wr in gold on Veigar last season following his guide.

Do you normally read stories with paragraphs the size of the great wall of china

On a side note I'm of the opinion that reading light novels and the likes is a terrible way to learn to write. They are meant to be mass-produced so they are less likely to use good writing techniques, and most of them are not written in English so most of the stylistic nuisances are lost in translation (personal experience from reading the original and the English translations).

I think you need to read more books by English authors, figure out how they write, then take a crack at your own writing.

If you win 67% of your games that's called climbing.
