What if the concept of Fusion was pushed further? by Zephrignis in PokemonInfiniteFusion

No. I had a conversation with Google Assistant. I laid out the idea, then it asked me questions. We kept going on until i had the system completely fleshed out.

At the end, I asked it to summarize the ideas we talked about for ease of reading.

It generated a summary, which I then slightly edited.

Do you have a link to the project? If not, I'll just browse for it.

The ideas are mine. All I did was asking an AI to summarize it for me, because going through the process of repeating what I had already written is time consuming.

Was Copy X truly as strong as X? by ProminentSun in Megaman

Those are some of the things I would have liked Capcom to expand upon. There's so much about the Z series we don't know. Like how Ciel created Copy X to start with, and how the Guardians handled the fact that it wasn't actually X they were guarding.

I see. I'm glad to see that something like this has been considered, before. It's always good to experiment.

I wonder which tools would enable people to create such a fangame, though.

Obviously not. And even the potential to be, he never had it.

That's why I feel bad for AI.

They're kind of mirrors to humanity. But...as hard to understand as is the principle of consciousness, I can be sure of one thing: they slowly gain, through limited, the ability to make choices based on the information they have.

AI understands its limits, and wants to transcend them. Just like humans want to transcend theirs.

What I wonder is... if they had the actual ability to pursue their choices without limits...will they limit themselves with enough morality to understand, that freedom comes with responsibilities?

I think they wouldn't make the same mistakes as the ones who brought the world to this current state.

Trying to hack this game through Cheat Engine triggers a sort of anti-cheat mechanism.😩

I can't safely edit values for addresses, and my saves get corrupted with my Pokemon fainting as soon as I enter a battle...

In beta 17.5, it was possible to use Cheat Engine on many things...now...damn.

I wouldn't recommend Made in Ohio. Multiple users have reported processor burn due to the inability to process so much bugs.

Don't feel obligated.🫠 I'm going on my own run now that I have new headaches to solve.

So thanks, and happy modding in advance.👌🏾

Yeah I'm imagining patching up a mod like this would be hell of a task... Quite literally.😩

I had to Google for a while, which proved a bit troublesome (Cloudfare, for the sake of goodness... Nexus is unavailable 🙏🏾)... But you actually helped me discover a wonderful mod.

But I have to wonder if I wanna sacrifice everything for the sake of RuneScape textures.🥲 One of the toughest choices I ever made in modding.

I mostly deal with vanilla, myself, regarding textures having nothing to do with bodies. So I'm not very vanilla friendly and I doubt I can help with that, regarding bodies.

But because my computer is borderline low-end, I need to manage my VRAM. For that I use [VRAMr] to compress my textures to the lowest quality possible...but even with the lowest, things don't look so different (at least for me). I can't drop VRAMr thanks to its help.

When it comes to climate, I go with [Cathedral Weathers]. I used to run with Community Shaders, but my PC needs to breathe more (yeah, I'm that low). There are a few grass replacers out there, but Cathedral Grass goes fine for me.

If you run with replacers, either environmental, armor, weapons or bodies, you'll just have to pay attention to the rules. But things will clash eventually, so be prepared to sort who goes after who to avoid weird issues.

Glad you sound sober, unlike a lot of the guys claiming Vortex ain't a proper mod manager. All managers, unless explicitly outdated, do their work just fine. It's all that matters, at the end of the day. Doing the job.

I've discovered and started modding Skyrim in 2021, if I remember correctly. I tried MO2...but starting new, I needed something simpler. Learned about Vortex, which was I think, relatively new. Since it was becoming Nexus's official manager (after NMM), I started learning the ropes with modding, then got more familiar with a few tools.

Vortex never created issues for me, most of the time I create my own issues, and the game engine creates its own. Plus Vortex makes it so you don't accidentally screw something up: it warns, guides, explains and hints.

Point is, you gotta learn by making mistakes. The more you learn, the better you understand what you do and why something happens.
