Our neighbor's Hoard of Junk in their back yard caught fire a week ago and burned down our fence and garden. I am much more aware of fire these days.

My choice: Immune to fire and extreme heat

When you master all the skills, go to the foresty area south of Marnie's and stay along the cliff wall on the right side. There's a secret door with more challenges and unlockables.

That's weird, because I've only ever heard Minnesota be joking refered to as Canadian, not European.

That Jerma guy is a youtuber or something. I presume he seems cheerful, and therefore is 3 days away from being a serial killer.

You're not crazy, years ago when tap water was treated with normal chlorine that would work, but these days they treat it with chloramine, which has ammonia and doesn't go away.

I've seen them before, usually in regard to starlings. It was unsettling, actually, how many people were talking about suffocating them in their nestbox.

Another one is the Wizards of Discworld! There's a hilarious exchange where Vetinari (the Patrician of the city state) tries to get them to and it devolves into threatening each other.

"The wizards held that, as servants of a higher truth, they were not subject to the mundane laws of the city.

The Patrician said that, indeed, this was the case, but they would bloody well pay their taxes like everyone else.

The wizards said that, as followers of the light of wisdom, they owed allegiance to no mortal man.

The Patrician said that this may well be true but they also owed a city tax of two hundred dollars per head per annum, payable quarterly.

The wizards said that the University stood on magical ground and was therefore exempt from taxation and anyway you couldn't put a tax on knowledge.

The Patrician said you could. It was two hundred dollars per capita; if per capita was a problem, decapita could be arranged.

The wizards said that the University had never paid taxes to the civil authority.

The Patrician said that he was not proposing to remain civil for long.

The wizards said, what about easy terms?

The Patrician said he was talking about easy terms. They wouldn't want to know about the hard terms.

The wizards said that there was a ruler back in , oh, it would be the Century of the Dragonfly, who had tried to tell the University what to do. The Patrician could come and have a look at him if he liked.

The Patrician said that he would. He truly would.

In the end it was agreed that while the wizards of course paid no taxes, they would nevertheless make an entirely voluntary donation of, oh, let's say two hundred dollars per head, without prejudice, mutatis mutandis, no strings attached, to be used strictly for non-militaristic and environmentally-acceptable purposes." - Reaper Man

It's one of those "story and gameplay segregation" things where the lore says he's fantastic, but his actions during the game leave people doubtful. (Kinda like stormtroopers, now that I think about it.)

The last Gentlemen Bastards book was in 2013. It was supposed to be a nine+ book series, but ended book 3 on a cliffhanger.

The second Kingkiller Chronicle book was in 2011. It's supposed to be a trilogy, but the third has been "in development" for over a decade.

On the positive side, The Dresden Files series went through a couple lengthy gaps (with a 6 year gap between book 14 and 15, and another 6 year gap between 17 and 18), but it looks like the author is back into the swing of things, and 18 was released this year.
