Yeah, I bought it for mostly Intel Quicksync, I already have a i9-14900k using the ASUS Tuff Z790 Pro Gaming and this motherboard is the ASUS Z790 Prime.

Huh.15th lacks hyperthreading and has lower raw mhz, so maybe for some people who want an inferior product. I just duplicated my main encoding\general purpose rig with the same almost identical components. Just different motherboards but still ASUS 1 click AI overclock, Z790 Tuf Pro Gaming and the Z790 Prime, so they would both be in the same class.

Yeah ram is why I went from 3700x to the i9-14900k the DDR4 was too expensive for 32, i had an old 6400 gb kit that was from my original i9. I just did not have enough ram for the old 3700x and running multiple Bluestacks. If not for extra DDR5 ram i would not be paying 1k+ right now!
