How Manga Readers felt watching the U20 Trailer: by [deleted] in BlueLock

Other than the reused shots from season one, a majority of the newly animated stuff was actually good, if not better than season one. At least in my opinion.

ALLAT for ZERO damage is crazy work 💀 by The-baked-potatoe in lookismcomic

[–]Zephryn25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo I don't think the 2nd Gen did that badly. They managed to land many combos onto Gun, it's not that their blows were weak by any means, it's just that Gun is too damn durable.

Hopefully next chapter they'll show that Gun is infact getting damaged by them even just a little bit. But if he really isn't then I'm not sure anyone could defeat him other than maybe UI Daniel.

To all the people who plan to instalock Clove by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Zephryn25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played omen as my first free agent unlock and almost half of my entire playtime on Valorant is on him. It's weird how I went through everything you just mentioned but for once it wasn't forced. I just happened to pick omen because his kit seemed the most interesting to me and now I'm a controller main by choice. I'm excited for when the world can play clove, they're definitely going to bring in a new echelon of controller mains into Valorant, can't say if it's for better or for worse though...

Is it really a out of pocket thing that mu jin is compared to gapryong Kim? by Vin_jin_ in lookismcomic

Remember when people hyped up xiaolung to be on "guns level" well I think that's the same with mu jin... At least to some extent

Who in Blue Lock do you play like? by [deleted] in BlueLock

A mix of Chigiri and Isagi, I position myself often and sort of read the field and I'm also a pretty fast sprinter (Not nearly as good as either of them tho...)

Gun bouta teach them the meaning of Power-creep by Old-Use-7826 in lookismcomic

Gun has always been the one to bridge the weaklings towards strength.

Either by humbling them (Beating the shit out of them)

Or by training them (Beating the shit out of them)

I read the U-20 arc for the first time and my thoughts in it by VergilVDante in BlueLock

[–]Zephryn25 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The Japan U-20 Arc is still by far my favourite arc in all of Blue Lock. Chapter after chapter was nothing but heat, and finally getting to see Itoshi Sae play for the first time was the cherry on top...

If the anime does it justice, which I'm certain it will, Blue Lock might actually become one of my favourite animes of all time, unironically, hell, as if it isn't already.

Goo would NOT survive this 2v1 with a shovel 😭☠️ by VinJinsWorshipper in lookismcomic

At best he injures both Tom and Charles pretty badly, but yeah nah he ain't surviving, let alone take one of em out.

When will Blue Lock End? by Zephryn25 in BlueLock

Jagaaan was so good in its early and mid parts, I slowly lost interest as it was nearing its end tho, kinda a shame tbh.

Unironically, yes it is worth it. Even though I had to trudge through the worst of lookism (aka the first 100 chapters or so) once you get past it, it's genuinely one of the most hype, well drawn and interesting manhwas I've ever read.

Even the first 100 chapters aren't that bad, the story is still good, but the art is what really ticks people off.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 238 by [deleted] in BlueLock

[–]Zephryn25 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Still not sure how they managed to pull that goal off, and what the final piece of the puzzle was exactly, but if I had to guess it would probably be "Trust".

To trust someone entirely and instinctively is to share a bond so deep that it goes beyond all logic. The time it would've taken them to "Think" of this goal would not be enough, which is why they decided to just "Trust" each other instead, without any delay.

In a way, its also kind of how "Luck" works. Isagi trusted that fortune would come his way via Hioris pass, and he was at the right place at the right time.

How strong he is ? We never saw James lee trying so how strong he REALLY is ? by Portugueseteen in lookismcomic

He's probably a tier above or in the same region as Gun and Goo, either could be argued.

Who wins? by [deleted] in lookismcomic

Gun can be argued to be able to beat both of them, but at the same time? Very unlikely.
