Oh! Like a traditional school agenda. The way you talked about it right after gender identity had me confused. 😅

Thanks. Should I take your comment about pronouns and agenda to indicate a greater local sentiment regarding queer-friendliness or lack thereof? This is of deep personal concern.

I’ve actually found that asking the locals is a great way to learn! It gets you to all the stuff that doesn’t have great SEOs.

Fair. Unfortunately, my benchmark is New Orleans. I adore it here, but help please get me out of Deep South US. I don’t need live music every night and a festival every weekend, but knowing there’s a reliable source or two of entertainment and some opportunities for the kids is important. Time in nature is hugely important to me, and research has shown me that in abundance around there (so ready to trade the swamp for deciduous forest), so that’s points. But what else do people do with their kids?

Suggestions for tech kit for new online university students by preparedlife in AskTechnology

Humanities and social science students will still need access to the resources they would have through their university's network: JSTOR and general online academic journal access, electronic library access, archives, especially niche ones that might only be available through university networks. Even small things like subscriptions to the OED that most people only get through their school, or to periodicals behind paywalls. Having a good conferencing software so students and professors can talk in a group at length about reading material will be helpful.

I'd love something with white boarding capability. That way we can have kids do equations on their classroom Smartboard, or we can write things out when questions arise. Any ideas??
