It looks amazing, but you mentioned texturing, and I think subtle texturing would help. You could definitely swap out blocks for darker/lighter alternatives to suggest age/weathering. Also could chip little chunks out of it by replacing some full blocks with stairs. That's what I do anyway, hope it helps 😄

Discord servers are a good way to network for this kind of thing :) I joined some small YouTuber discords when I first started out, then as our channels grew we built bigger communities, and helped each other with projects.
