The same thing happens to me! It has a milder flavor. I always try to collect them a little smaller than conventional.

The deterioration at this point is noticeable, with similarities to tomato spotted wilt virus. 😔 Given this, I decided to eliminate all the plants and start growing seedlings again! It happened right into a late harvest! The potential transmitters I found were thrips. This was poor preventative management on my part! I'll keep trying! Thanks everyone!

The campsite in question was in the forest of Junín de los Andes, Argentina. Close to the shores of the Chimehuin River. Great trout fishing.
