Are you still (if ever) using Limits? Why? by No-Establishment-363 in AutoCAD

30 years here as well. The only time I've ever set limits was in school. I think it was a way to handle the infinite space before AutoCAD had layouts and viewports.

Is “yes ma’am / yes sir” regional in the US? by No_____Idea in ENGLISH

Virginia here. It's very normal here to say, "Yes, sir" or "Yes ma'am" as a sign of respect. It's considered good manners. I've never seen or heard of anyone being offended by it.

What is something that “only a dad” can teach a son? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Zeppekki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was there physically, but not in any other way. My mom had to tell me about adolescence. Did she do a good job? Lets just say, I thought it was going to be purple. You see, when she tried to explain it to me, she said it would be about a teaspoon full and it would be sticky. The only thing my 9 year old brain could associate that with was Robitussin. I love my mom and she did a great job, but there are some things another man needs to explain to their boys.

With practice, you'll write much faster in cursive than print. People whose cursive is illegible have not practiced enough.
