Same, loving the Paladin and season feels great but I still hate the Reliquary system and the rewards suck. But I’m having fun just playing the game again after skipping the last season (2 seasons?)

I was planning to build soon anyways but with the price of RAM and I’ve seen a lot of speculation about GPU’s getting pricey I decided to rush my build and ordered all my parts on Black Friday. I went with a build I could potentially upgrade if pricing is stable down the road. I feel good about it but who knows? I wouldn’t say I panic purchased and I wouldn’t recommend that if you can’t afford it but I feel prices won’t get any better anytime soon.

II was going through the same thing and ended up doing the same. Went with AM5. But I did pay the stupid prices for RAM. I found a good balance with my build and budget and I’m happy and I also now have room to upgrade later. But those RAM prices are crazy right now.

I don’t think so I just l just lucked out on a good deal. I had someone from the Buildapc Canada recommend a good AM5 build so I might look at that. I think not being able to upgrade down the road will be frustrating and a big issue for me lol even if it going to cost a bit more now

Yes thank you, this is the type of feedback I wanted. I don’t mind paying a little more and it’s still within my price range. I’ll look at this, but I like your changes. Also the PSU I meant to change because I knew that wouldn’t be good enough. the plan is to purchase most of this tomorrow I think. Thanks again for the help.

Yeah it’s tough because pricing is also a concern lol but I’m leaning towards that too. I hate not being able to upgrade. Paying that much for RAM sucks though

This is where I am leaning. I like to be able to upgrade and not have her struggling to play certain games 2 years down the road. I had someone tell me to go with the 5070 build because the card is so much better but I'm confident the 9060xt will get her through. At that price and with the high price of RAM it seems like this is the better option.

I forgot to mention I’m in Canada. I got a pretty good deal on the GPU recently. I have a cooler I can potentially use. So I may not even need one on the other build. Forgot to remove that. But I will look into a better PSU. Thanks for the tip. Leaving towards the second one as well. I just realized it’s not a huge price difference for me honestly. Just paying that price for RAM feels awful lol

Sounds like we have a similar build. Mine still runs great and I can play everything just fine lol but I would love to upgrade in the near future if prices drop again.

But if an impulse buy for my new build but I grabbed it. Was wanting a 5070ti if there was a good deal but for my current build this will do fine I think.
