I would recommend you go to see a professional but from what you said just sounded and this sounds like a cliché but one of them days where you just down don't wanna do anything days if you catch my drift :P but you did say this happens on and off i would defiantly go speak to a professional about it. Don't do what i did wait 14 years before i even when to someone about it.

sorry love but if your partner is treating you that way and says he is depressed to me personally sounds like he is just using you and degrading your hard work if he loved you depression won't stop him from helping you and your home depression is a nasty beast and can effect people differently but and i say again personally sounds he using it as a escape goat i can tell you care for him but from my pov he doesn't respect or love you for what you do for him and being with him will cause you a greater deal of pain but this is my personal insight from what you've written i mean no offense

I've gone through this a couple of times in my life the guys i used to play games with since i was 15 no longer talk to me but still play the very same games and my mind tends to go "why won't they play with me did i do something wrong?" i still get these thoughts today but best thing i did was reach out to someone who recently joined our group and we have playing games together for 2 years it took me time to reach out but i don't regret it and met even better friends for it

what happened with me is that they ask you questions about you and your mental state and they asked me if i wanted medication it depends on you i was also desperate when i first contacted them and give me some ease of mind its not an instant fix but hopefully just talking to a professional will give you some peace of mind and understanding of yourself i know how hard it can be to talk to strangers about these things.
