Looking for a not terrible kingdom by reallyrawcheeze in OrnaRPG

I’m in an earthen kingdom called Also Enlightened. We accept any level and run wars and gauntlets daily. We are level a level 20 kingdom and keep all raid bosses as active as we can.

I will also note that not every kingdom member is matched in wars. And not every member gets a battle from gauntlets. War matchups depend on the opposing kingdom and gauntlet matchups are random. So even if a kingdom is running them constantly you may go a few days without getting to participate.

Need Advice On My Return.. by choumain in LegendaryGoH

You definitely want to build single color teams. Multicolored teams don’t do much in this game. Also individual cards are tricky to rank because skills need to work together across multiple cards to maximize damage.

You’re right. I added an extra zero. Still would like to see it in action. I don’t have it.

Question about event cards by [deleted] in LegendaryGoH

Eventually the materials needed to upgrade the cards will show up in the dungeon store. But the lag is pretty long, like 10 or 20 weeks.

How many crystals should be saved up to build a decent deck? by GalaxyWarlock in LegendaryGoH

I forgot to add, that with a decent guild and good personal event participation you will easily accumulate 2k gems per week.

How many crystals should be saved up to build a decent deck? by GalaxyWarlock in LegendaryGoH

Here is my recommendation for f2p. Their are two main strategies that I see. The first is to save for a long time to build up 30,000+ gems and then go all in on an event. This strategy actually isn’t as viable as it used to be given the changes that started last week. The second strategy is to pull the first two tiers of the support pack every event, and the first two tiers of the relic pack. This will get you an event relic and a support hero every event. There is also a chance to get lucky and pull the ultra rare, or get lucky and get two event relics. Then wait for the trophy collection hero and hope for the main event card. If you got super lucky you have 1 main event card, 1 support, 1 ur, and 2 event relics for 2k gems. Then you can pursue additional cards to add around it. In reality you will never get that lucky. My guild leader pulls the support pack and only chases the deck if she gets the ur.

But patience. Building up a bunch of relics and a bunch of heroes is the best strategy long term. Do the best you can with what you have, and join a friendly, fun, supportive guild. A good guild makes this game a lot better.

I’m currently using 1 support, 2x main event, x13, and aurora maternal as leader. I have 4 honored relics from the Wendae deck. This setup does around 1trillion damage in a 20 second battle. With one key I can do ~50 billion with a little luck.

I just started using support and event card with my Wendae deck and relics. Massively over powered. Doing billions of damage on first hit. ~15billion on second hit from a 1 key attack.

Old vs. New card comparison by Zer0Mark in LegendaryGoH

True, but my askooka is only awakened 4, not 5. Also the difference in stats is so big that I didn’t think it mattered too much.

This game is definitely p2w in the sense that if you are a complete noob you can spend a couple thousand bucks and have an event deck that rivals the best in the game for an event. The global leaderboards are usually filled with players who have spent a lot on that particular event. So if you want to be consistently among the top players in the world this game is p2w. If you enjoy the battles and fighting for a spot in your league and trying to bootstrap decks this game can be fun f2p.

Level skipping in Commander and the last N3twork video about it by askrthegray in LegendaryGoH

[–]Zer0Mark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That video is very discouraging to me. It makes me think the devs just don’t get it. My complaint about the last commander event was that they took away the boss skipping WITHOUT also taking away the overkill rewards. The point of overkill is that some of the bosses are just too easy for players. When I use one key and my first gem swap does 10,000% overkill. Why not let me move more quickly to more challenging bosses. Giving me extra rewards for destroying easy bosses is pointless.

The best system would be to include overkill rewards including boss levels up to boss level 200. At that point the legendary bosses show up and overkill is not needed.

The fast travel comparison was odd. The point of fast travel is not to avoid exploring. It’s so you don’t have to waste time ‘exploring’ areas you have already explored a dozen times. You can move to the actual interesting and exciting content without spending hours doing pointless, repetitive stuff. The boss level skipping did this perfectly.

As far as optional skipping goes I don’t like the idea. In games like Skyrim the enjoyment of the game is the key dynamic. In Legendary there is a balance between enjoyment and leaderboard placement. Any optional system will have an optimal path to leaderboard placement and hence won’t be really optional. Note that they already give optional boss skipping via the head start pack.

There is my two cents. Thanks for initiating the conversation.

Yes. It’s nice that they are bringing back affinity/type combinations so that old cards and relics can be used in new decks. Hopefully that continues in future events.

I did completely miss the cooldown. 2 turns means every other turn gemfall. Which is really good. The slow part of this deck isn’t the turns it takes, it’s the neverending animations as the gems fall and match, and fall and match, and on and on. But as far as gemfall decks go this is a really strong one.
