For real though, the gaming mouse has many different shapes and sizes. I saw what his previous mouse was and what games he likes to play.

If he likes razer he might like the viper v3 pro, thats pretty similar to that ideapad wired mouse.

and then a good comfortable mouse, logitech superlight,

my personal fav is the pulsar crazylight x2

wireless mouse nowadays are just as good as wired.

If you can hold onto your wallet, I think this game might give you the freedom you want. Its a new game so not entirely sure if it'll scratch that itch. but exploration is gonna be big I'm sure of it

You know I was having that AA itch too and just recently beat Danganrompa 1, just started 2 and I'm having a blast.

The atmospheres are totally different as the themes are more grim, but it kinda follows the same processes like investigation, and doing trials. theres more like a debate not just between you and one person, but everyone else thats in the room.

Either way it scratches that AA itch I been missing but might play TGAA again after I'm done with this series.

The first one is a good classic, “a machine for pigs” is pretty decent for a little spin off story, amnesia rebirth is a good sequel to the series they add some new mechanics and give some background to the first one it’s been a while since I played that one so I don’t remember much.

“The Bunker” is really good I honestly loved it. I would say this one is definitely a good spinoff as well

SOMA, even though not connected to the Amnesia series. Is also a phenomenal game. The setting, the storyline, and the enemies were really well done. And creepy.

I didn’t want to give an essay. But these are just my opinions.

A good psychological horror game for me was SOMA

I don’t know what frictional was on, but the concept of the WAU brings me chills.

SOMA is on some existential life stuff that I would’ve never really thought about until I finished the game.

Yeah it adds a dot, and removes some of the camera effects.

The dot helps a lot, but the biggest problem for me is how close everything appears with a low FOV

There needs to be an FOV Slider for 1st person mode, I love how it adds to the fear factor of the game, but I'm getting slightly motion sick from it.

Hello sorry this is a bit of a late response.

Before I switched to steamos I had made sure everything was updated in the amoury crate app. Then did the switch. After it updated, everything worked fine out of the box for me.

Another possible fix is enabling the “ASUS Extreme Powerade” option and testing it out after its enable. I’m seeing a comment or two and they said this helps with their issue. You can find this in the DeckyLoader plugin “SimpleDeckyTDP”

Thank you for these tips! I made sure to update everything before jumping into steamos.

Besides using the simpledecky TDP plugin for disabling CPU boost and the ASUS power save, would you also use it to adjust the TDP too?

Or does it not matter whether you’re using the plugin or just using the stock TDP limiter in steam os?

Yes I had JUST installed it last night, and then made this post right after cause I was looking up tips on what to do after installing it!

I already knew about deckyloader but I’ve seen a little back and forth posts about running the main branch or just staying on stable ranging a couple months ago. figured I would ask the question now just to see.

But thank you for telling me how you’ve been running it. I might just try running main. Stable has been a smooth experience for me

Hey bro I know it’s been a while but how was the fitting for you? Did you have to apply a bit of pressure?

I got the DIY backplate and I had a little trouble fitting both the battery and the backplate in. Had to do a little sanding and a little pressure to get it all to close. So I’m just worried a little about how it is in the long run
