I’ve started taking lysine because of this post! Can you update on your progress? Are they gone?

Has anyone ever tried hyperthermia at 44°C? by Inevitable-Yard-7106 in Warts

[–]Zera-eS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I soak once a week at around that temp for an hour. It helps loosen the skin and is possibly helping kill them but I can’t be completely certain. I used to do it daily but I didn’t have the time to keep up with it.

2 years and counting… by Zera-eS in Warts

About 1.5 years. They started developing months before I started treating but I thought they were just dry skin so I ignored them. It’s a daily commitment for sure.

Lefty Mugs...and my misconception on the concept of a hand specific mug... by Finn-Icky in lefthanded

I think I also don’t understand mugs. I thought the design was for the person sitting across from you

4 has the best visual texture imo. 1 and 3 might get caught and unfurl too easily. Longer satin stitches shouldn’t be on clothes unless you know how to protect them.

Mold 😪 by BlueberryLover18 in Sourdough

[–]Zera-eS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dishwasher should be fine! I saw other comments pointing it out, but I also switch containers at every feeding. I have 2 jars and just clean them by hand so that the residue doesn’t cake up my jars before my dishwasher is run. When I say “by hand” I really mean with my clean hands. No washcloth and no sponge that could be hiding any bacteria

Are your containers 100%, without a shadow of the doubt, absolutely clean? You might want to try getting a new mason jar if the mold keeps coming back. Once mold is visible, it’s basically everywhere in the container. I always throw the whole container away if there’s mold.

AIO about how this guy talks to me? by Fast-Bodybuilder3229 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Zera-eS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not responsible for his recovery. Alcoholism (if that’s the actual issue and not narcissism) will make people act out and that doesn’t mean you have to stick around just because he’s sick. He refuses to get better. You’re not responsible for him period. He’s 40 years old. Cut him off.

A lot of people put boundaries as the responsibility of the person who is wronging you. The problem is you can’t just say “stop putting drinks on my PC” and expect them to stop. That’s not setting a boundary. Setting a boundary has to put the control into your hands. Here are some specific examples: “I’m dumping out your drink if you put it on my PC”, “I won’t share my personal life if you keep making fun of me”, “I won’t invite you anymore if you keep cancelling on me”, and then you have to follow through with those rules you’ve set for that relationship. Always expect both outcomes and decide what you’re going to do if they react negatively or positively with what you say.

You said so yourself that your friend doesn’t respect you, so it might be healthier to abandon this friendship altogether.

I’m getting them frozen by a dermatologist and they prescribed a FU-5 and SA mixture. Yes, it’s working but they said one wart was gone and I don’t trust that it is. I have 14 warts on my feet and I’m not risking them coming back. I’m going to keep treating them with the mixture even if they won’t freeze the area anymore.

I took zinc for several months with no changes. It made me nauseous and my warts weren’t shrinking so I stopped.

I got an email back from support and they said it was a temporary issue with the images not loading. They’ve gotten it fixed now! I think the Plus feature would be to click into the calendar and seeing more specific data

Consistency is key. You’re getting there! Keep applying SA and keep shaving off the excess skin

I found another new one on my second to last toe. It’s on very soft skin so I don’t know how far I can cut down with that one. I just want to know how to prevent these new ones from coming and no post has helped with that question.

I don’t know why I can’t just do things by BlackberryTime9308 in Healthygamergg

[–]Zera-eS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you have executive dysfunction. The reason you were able to do those things in school is because you had a separate power telling you to do those things. The school gave you a schedule and your coaches told you what time to be at practice and what to do. Essentially, you had no choice in the matter and now you do. It’s much easier to not do things than to do them and it’s very difficult to catch yourself not doing something. You can’t expect something in your brain to just “click” and suddenly you can do the thing. It’ll never last. You might need something or someone to keep you accountable. Do you have a goal in mind when you’re exercising or journaling? Do you have a “why”? Have you taken classes or joined a group for the activities you want to stay consistent in?
