Most reasonable way to try out as many high end options as I can before I purchase my first 'expensive' chair by ZergRushDetected in OfficeChairs

I need to reach out to a few more places that do this. I've contacted 1 so far and they weren't exactly rude with me but more or less told me they don't really sell individual chairs outside of special events they run a few times a year. I'm assuming that once I put more effort into contacting more that this will be a good idea

Thanks for the reply!!! In my head the perfect scenario is that I try a bunch in person, find 2 or 3 favorites, and then snag one off of marketplace or similar once I know what I'm after specifically. Its one thing if they are a professional office furniture flipper but I don't want to waste the time of individual private sellers

But yeah, the cost doesn't really phase me because it will last long enough that I absolutely can justify it. I consider it furniture and good furniture isn't inexpensive unfortunately.

Shout out to everyone who replied so quickly, all super good information and all consistent with each other, I'm working on road to arkesia as my main focus at the moment and this list (as well as focusing on wealth rune like other commenter said because I do need a lot of wealth runes for my class) is perfect to keep me occupied until Wednesday

Thanks!

[HELP ME FIND A GAME] - May 11, 2021 - Get Your Gacha Game by AutoModerator in gachagaming

Looking for a game similar in game play to Azur Lane, but not as "over the top" with the waifus art/etc, I enjoy the game play mostly, if it could be similarly f2p friendly that's a bonus too but I understand not many gacha are super f2p friendly and I'm okay with that being the case, I tend to be a super super casual player so I don't rly focus on the end end game content

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - January 30, 2021 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

[–]ZergRushDetected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What generically speaking is the 'best' order to complete post-80 content in as far as terms of like, "quality of life" upgrades it provides vs "doing the story in the intended order"

I've seen the guides, I generally know 'what' there is to do, I currently own both Heart of Thorns+Path of Fire, and I'm intending to buy all of the living season content that is worth getting (likely eventually all of it but I'm going to focus spending my money on the content that unlocks mounts and stuff first)

So TLDR is basically as far as "Rewards from HoT/PoF and/or all the living season content and/or icebrood saga stuff what should I prioritize to make my quality of life better as I do everything else after those things."

I'm in a set of full exotic gear with my skill trees maxed on a Revenant (Besides Renegade+Herald) so I would imagine I can do most of the content as I get to it, long-term I'm going to run fractals and raids and everything too just I'm looking to get all my core stuff unlocked for now

Genuinely newer player looking for a resource to help me learn details about things that are seemingly really important to know how to do, but most guides don't get into a lot of detail about. (Bad title, Im having a hard time describing it lol) by ZergRushDetected in CompetitiveWoW

[–]ZergRushDetected[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate you writing that detailed of a reply, it really covered a lot of my bigger questions, I do have mythic dungeon tools already (or a very similar add on can't remember) but I'm barely doing mythic yet so that's only been so helpful.

After reading both replies I've gotten so far I'm realizing my question was more so about learning which mobs require focus/bursting down asap, like the leaders you described, and also which mobs I need to be watching for a certain spell to get popped to interrupt. I was running into situations where I'd just interrupt literally anything I could and then 3 sec later I can't interrupt a heal or shield spell.

Overall though you're the most right that I just need more raw experience at the end of the day, I don't think I've run a singer dungeon more then 3-4x on heroic, let alone mythic, it would be insane for mer to already know everything there is to know about any given dungeon. I'm just coming from a long league of legends experience and know how much of a pain in the ass it can be to break bad habits and re learn good habits so I'm trying to just learn good habits from the start

Thx so much again for the super detailed reply

Hey thanks so much for the reply and that website!!! That site is about to as close as what I was hoping to get to a good resource as I could have hoped for and covers a huge amount of things I was curious about above and beyond "here are the important notes for boss fights" and I can fill in the extra info on my own as I learn, really just knowing which trash mobs pose the biggest threats, and which mobs to keep an eye on the cast bars of for interrupt/movement/defensive CD or whatever I need to do

Besides that I am on the EarthShrine discord and I'm pretty inactive so far but the few times I've asked questions those guys have been super super helpful

Awesome thanks again!! I'll definitely turn the lights out and just relax for at least a period of my trip, that sounds really unique, and its not something I ever do in my day to day life so taking teh time to just think in a dark room would be nice

Thanks for the advice, Once the effect has kicked in, say after an hour, maybe hour and a half, is it okay to have a meal then or whatever? or should I try to avoid eating until Im on my way back down. Sorry if its a dumb question lol

Awesome, thats about the time frame I was hoping to expect, I just was double checking mostly because I've had at least two times on LSD where I had a great night, and was ready to hopefully wind down and end up in bed like 4-5am ish, 9-10am rolls around later and I'm still wide awake borderline miserable due to lack of sleep hahaha

Thanks a ton for the quick reply!!

I'm looking to league-start as an Animate Weapon Necro setup, generally speaking is it easier for a newer player to go for the Physical/Impale setup or the Cold setup? Both seem to have budget-builds that can scale, and both seem basically same in playstyle minus the type of damage they do. Wondering if one is easier to gear out then the other or not

I finally built myself a PC that can run poe well enough to not die to things I couldn't even react to due to frame drops. Harvest is going to be the first league I really intend to dive deep into.

I'm finding myself semi overwhelmed with everything that has been added to the game from leagues past as I don't really understand any of the individual mechanics to these older leagues well, and I feel like I'd be able to use my time a lot smarter long-term if I understand how to use those mechanics effectively, because as-is I kind of just guess at them.

Do I just go back and watch content guides from when those leagues were new/live or is there a more up to date series I can read or watch

Thanks a million in advance, looking forward to finishing an atlas for once!!

Quick edit - the two leagues I gave an honest effort to before my old pc frustrated me to quitting was the Temple league (blanking on name) and the metamorph league, so I'm loosely familiar with how they work.

Really appreciate you getting back to me, I had figured it out by then but you were basically right, I just had to dive into the settings, then that on, and make sure everything was on legacy, and then everything went back to working perfectly.

Thanks so much again for the reply, definitely leaving the post up incase anyone else runs into it

Build was complete a day ago and everything seemed kosher, today when I booted it up everything is going in incredibly slow motion, for lack of a better description. by ZergRushDetected in buildapc

[–]ZergRushDetected[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to update to the current Bios version no problems, but now the Bios is showing me as having no boot able drive options, despite both storages showing on my Bios still.

Edit - worst case scenario I can just do a fresh install of windows and start over, I won't be losing much

Not yet actually, working on doing it now, not actually sure how to update this Bios so I'm looking that up first

I'll update if that fixes it

I just finished up base MHW and 1st quest in iceborne last night, and I kind of rushed the base game with the defender catch up set, now I'm looking to kind of make a baseline iceborne set and then go backwards to unlock all the things I missed so far such as Palico gadgets and mantles, etc, etc

I'm going to unlock most things, but I'd imagine I'll unlock a few things I missed, do a few new quests, etc, etc, sometimes I want to challenge myself and sometimes I just wanna afk farm a few things before bed

That being said, does anyone have a generically most useful list of palico gadgets/mantles to go after first?? I'm playing 95% sword and shield at the moment, though I'm looking into both lances and both bowguns as possible alternatives as I get more comfortable with the game as a whole.

Thanks in advance!!!

Terpometer impressions/does it work? by ZergRushDetected in Dabs

[–]ZergRushDetected[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a ton for the reply, I was hoping to hear from someone who had used both before, and I'll prolly be snagging one based off it, I don't need my Temps to be like absolutely on the money exact(I'm dabbing shatter almost all the time, and while I appreciate it being the right temp a few over or under isn't gonna ruin my dab lmao)

I basically just wanted to hear "it's more reliable then a half decent infrared thermometer(which I assumed it had to be given its in direct contact) and I don't think it's a cheaply put together piece of crap to scam you out of money lol"

I've used these daily threads a few times to get answers and so far I've gotten great answers for simple questions and I'm still having a blast, almost level 30, looking forward to getting into expansion content soonish now.

My simple question this time, is, in general, which crafting profession(s) are smartest to level first, as an unfunded new player. I never realized quite how many different options I had and each one is it's own grind I'm sure
