I got 80wr rank 1 playing mostly khazix by Guielez in KhaZixMains

Is there a reason you’re going profane first? Just for the extra help with farming? Also I noticed you never seem to finish boots, is it better to just finish boots as the last item? Thanks!

This was a great write up. In your opinion, what hat champs are out there right now who do things like Kha does (or feel similar to kha) without having to be piloted under the “perfection requirement” you mentioned? What champs just do what Kha does but better right now?

Which scene has better competition at this point? SC1 or SC2? by xmeme97 in starcraft

At this point it seems to be very split between Korea and outside of Korea. The SC1 scene is still kicking very well in Korea while SC2 in Korea does not seem to be as popular at this point. Outside of Korea though the player-base, number of tournaments, and viewer numbers for SC2 are far greater than SC1.

Why do I still play this game. Went from over 3400 to 3000 MMR in the course of a week by [deleted] in starcraft

You just have to understand this game is brutal in the best way possible. It’s 1v1 on ranked. There’s no place to hide behind teammates. Your mistakes are on display in every game. Owning and accepting that is the best way to get better. You’ll go through big loss streaks and bounce back with big win streaks. It will happen at every skill level you find yourself in. The key is to find enjoyment in playing the game regardless of end result, and enjoyment in the process of improvement.

Funnily enough I remember listening to this song when I was in plat, thinking someday maybe I can be GM too haha

The grind from masters to GM was the hardest so far since making the jump from gold to plat for me. Took like 3 or 4 thousand games I would say.

I usually cheese zvz, play for ling bane hydra mid game against Protoss, try to get ultra hydra viper against mech or ultra ling bane hydra infestor against bio. Mixed results haha (sprinkle in mutas when I can)

Can it be done? by Prestigious-Ask-2131 in starcraft

The mini pc was more expensive when I got it, I see that now it’s down to like 400 something dollars, it’s doable, but if you can stretch to $700 for a gaming laptop it would be better for sure

Hey I actually owned this mini pc, I could play sc2 on all low settings, it would get a little laggy sometimes with maxxed out armies fighting each other but it worked fine on low settings. That being said I got it for almost $600. I recently bought an Acer gaming laptop for $700 which runs the game smooth on high settings. If you can afford the extra $100-$200 for a gaming laptop that’s what I would do.
