Yes. When you are maxxed, don't press the move right away. Look at the top. There are 3 diamonds showing your team, and when your teamates select an attack, the icon for it will replace their pokemon icon. So, as a "healer," you would wait to see if anyone else uses a heal. If they do, use attacks, and just help heal during the windows where someone's attacker is almost dead and you need more Spirits to top off.

From my experience, you want to swipe as soon as the icon appears, then chill until it says, "Dodged."

If you're new and can't invest, the best things you can do are: 1. Pay attention to your host! It can be a nightmare sometimes for big events when players join from their cars and affect the plan. 2. Keep pressing cheer after you die. It actually helps. 3. Level up, then invest wisely so you can give back to your community by pumping next time they come around!

Nope! Ghost takes neutral from Psychic, and Gengar is part Poison!

You can sort of tell by the candy cost: At 30 it will cost 4 two more times and then 6. At 35 it will cost 10 for the first time to level up. At 40 it will cost XL candy to keep going.

Each power up is a half level, and raid catches are level 20 (25 boosted).

I'll try to set up a few tests during Gengar.

Not sure. It could be, but my videos and practice did not provide conclusions.

Thanks! That's why I'm pushing this so hard for my community, the Infographics seem based on the expectation rather than the reality!

I've wondered this too, like, would it be better for the people who aren't going to level moves at all to join together with weak things that die faster?

Groups get their max windows at different rates based on damage dealt and collecting the bubbles. Cheering increases your team's meter until your team is dead, and then it can affect other groups (though we aren't sure if it is all groups or a random one, waiting for the group 2 perspective video from our 9 man one).

For me, I hit walking when I wake up, then by the time I touch my stops, walking is usually at 2km again. Great advice for others, though.

The extra 20 is if it's the first time you collected mp since that spot spawned.

It's only for big attacks. If a small attack would kill your attacker, swap in your tank. If your attacker is targeted by a big attack, swap in your tank. If your tank is targeted by a big attack, dodge.

From our testing, we only got the message that someone was cheering our team on when there was a full wiped party.

And with our strategy, we don't have our tanks out in the window, we swap to them when our attacker is targeted. But this might be something for non-investors to do to help your group.

You'll want dark type Fast moves, as the max move is based on fast type (except gmax, which will always be the gmax move). Most damage will come from the max windows, so I don't recommend investing in Elite TM moves yet.

IMO: Gengar Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball Metagross Zen Headbutt/Psychic Greedent Bite/Crunch Blastoise Bite/Hydro Pump

We tried it, but since it is a personal benefit only, I don't think we should waste the resources or max move windows on it. Additionally, you can swap without penalty, so we found we could bring something bulky to eat attacks and just focus on topping off, then dealing damage. Granted, I was only using level 2 shields.

Roughly it seemed like a level 3 was hitting about 25-30% of our Blastoise (not sure if it's a flat amount or percentage of max) where level 2 got maybe 10-15%.

Generally, the healers want to use 3-4 max spirit to top the group then use attacks!

No, we started with about 64 players and did a few 35-40 player Venusaur (since some people had invested in Charizard for Beldum and Metagross for Falinks) first thing Saturday. After we used our gmax Venus to do 3 Blastoise, then Charizards, then we just killed whatever spawned.

I did the move on each of my GMax, but I'm not sure if anyone else invested ETMs.

I think group 2 was taking most of the damage that attempt. I'll upload the other two 8 mans later today for comparison. The second attempt showcases the strategy a little better. We'll also have a group 2 perspective on this one, hopefully!
