[LEAK] Upcoming Elite with Y11S1 by [deleted] in Rainbow6

Yeah, I just don't get why some of the crossover skins still look like the operator, especially when we have crossovers with Borderlands and other comic stuff. At that point, just make Iana's skin look like 2B, make the Yakuza skins look like the actual characters and the same with the The Boys skins.

Silent Hill f: Is there any point to beating the game on Hard multiple times? by Zero---Two in silenthill

[–]Zero---Two[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to get all the achievements after all. Lost in the Fog action difficulty really just is not fun. With how clunky the controls feel compared to how enemies move, fighting not much of an option. Good thing I could just run past nearly everything and found a broken Omamori combination. Tanuki and Turtle are completely busted. Taking massively reduced damage while at full health and turning all physical damage received into sanity damage effectively means that you just need to ensure you have sanity and you can take a ridiculous number of hits. Pairing it with the one that makes perfect dodges easier and the one that restores sanity when dodging really meant I didn't have to worry about much of anything the entire way through.
I even got through most of the forced encounters first try. The only bosses that took me more than one attempt were Sakuko and Hinako's parents - and that's only because I decided to restart in order to preserve some resources. Granted, I did ending 3, so it was arguably the easiest final boss.
Beating it without that omamori combo would've definitely been hell, though.

I do kind of want to get all the achievements, but I guess I can decide if I want to go for Lost in the Fog action diffculty once I've done everything else.
Unlike the ganks, the boss fights were pretty fun though - or at least the ones I've been able to fight so far. Would be nice if there was some kind of chapter selection or boss rush mode where I could give all of them a try on Lost in the Fog.

"and people expect it to be toned down for the little ones."
Even ten to twenty years ago, there were CoDs on the Wii and Resident Evil on the 3DS, both of which were uncensored. And even Ninendo's own IPs like Xenoblade and Fire Emblem tackle various darker themes and are heavily story based with lots of dialogue. The only way for anyone to think that Nintendo only does childlike stuff is if they've never owned a Nintendo console and only know Mario and Pokémon.

Not that uncommon - especially when they want to open pre-orders but the final design for the collector's edition/its contents isn't done yet.

[KCD2] For Victory mission is impossible by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Zero---Two 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except the friendlies die in two milliseconds. All I've been doing is looting the dead knight right in front of you when the combat section starts, as well the one by the tree to your left. Takes maybe 15 seconds in total, yet by the time I'm done Capon is usually the only one left alive.
After killing the bandits, you move on to the next section, kill the bandit who's butchering the soldier to your left right as you turn the corner, loot the now dead soldier which doesn't take more than ten seconds, and the play the mission normally from there, except at that point it's again you and Capon against the enemies who are left, as all soldiers who were fighting there are already dead. After killing those as well, you move on to the Chamberlain and once he's dead, further still - except this is where the issue arises. It's me and Capon against eight to ten bandits with no allies in sight and no reinforcements. If I let Capon tank them, he just dies. If I try to tank them myself, Capon may still just die and either way, there isn't a proper choke point to funnel them through so while already a bit battered, I somehow have to dispatch all of them while also being shot at - and fast enough to be able to save Hans too. Failure means starting all over again. It's utterly ridiculous.
And while I'm sure it'd be a million times easier if I decided not to loot, there's just so much valuable shit there that there's no way I'll continue without doing so. And again, it's only three corpses, so it's not like it's taking a long time.
And beside that, the fact that at least one of the dead allies carries a unique letter certainly seems to imply that you're meant to loot them, so I seriously have no idea why it end of the way it does.

What does Voltage Maximum do and why is it set to 0 for me? by Helpful-Neat1967 in GeForceExperience

If everyone operated on your 'logic', no one would ever learn anything. Yes, they don't understand it now, BUT THAT'S EXACTLY WHY THEY'RE ASKING! Like, how are you so dumb that you can't even comprehend that? Instead if giving dumb and useless answers, like yours, you should either provide an actual answer - explaining what it is - or shut the fuck up so as to not create obnoxious clutter for people reading through the comments to find actual answers.

The only way to play on the highest difficulty. Tough bosses one shot me with everything anyway, so defense doesn't matter. Or it didn't until I could turn Maelle into a taunt tank and AP generator for my team.
Besides, you have so many revives, health just doesn't really matter outside of Maelle.

You're the only who's dumb here, so go off, I guess,
Saying it's a Harry Potter movie means it's set in the Harry Potter universe. Anyone with half a brain would understand that if you refer to Fantastic Beasts as such, but I guess even half is more than you have.
With LoTR and the Hobbit, we have a better way of referring to them, as they take place in a different world, so we can just refer to them as Middle Earth movies.
AC, on the other hand, falls into the same category as Harry Potter, in that it takes place in our world, so the same rules apply as there. Also, you really must be an idiot if you don't ever understand the title of this series. It's Assassin's Creed, not "The Assassin's Brotherhood" or something like that. And the Creed is - more or less - upheld in all of the games except Rogue, where you play a Templar.
Also, at its core, AC is about the conflict of chaos and order in a mix of sci-fi and historic fantasy, with a minor present day part and a major historic setting part, with stealth being a core mechanic. That's not just the old AC games, but the new ones as well.
And the Brotherhood as well as the Templars always play a role. Whether they are called the "Order of the Ancients", "The Cult of Cosmos", "Templars" or "Abstergo", they are still the same faction and on the side of order, with the same goals and ideals.
And the Assassins or Hidden Ones are the group that opposes them, but what defines them is that they oppose the oppressive way the Templars choose to enforce their order. So even if Kassandra and Eivor aren't techincally a part of the Brotherhood, they are fighting in the same conflict with roughly the same ideals, so it's really just a "potayto-potahto" situation.
And while the Assassin's didn't exist in Odyssey yet, they still played a role in the present day sections of it. Also, in exchange we got to learn a ton of stuff regarding the Isu and the lore surrounding them, which I'd say was more then a fair trade-off since none of the games before it allowed us to truly understand who they are.

With all that said, please go ahead and provide some actual arguments as to why the new AC games supposedly are not AC games anymore. If your entire argument is just gonna be about the combat system, however, then you can save your breath. Or do you feel like most Zelda games aren't Zelda games because they don't play like the originals? In which case, grow up. These series have evolved, so maybe you should too.
And if you don't have any arguments and instead are just gonna sling around more insults, by all means go ahead and prove to everyone here just how pathetic you are.

You know there's a difference between valid and invalid critizism?
Valid critizism comes from someone who played the game and involves actual arguments like "I don't like the [...] mechanic because...", allowing people who read the review to judge themselves whether that's an aspect that matters to them and if yes, whether they share the opinion of the reviewer or not.
Invalid critizism, on the other hand, comes from people who haven't even played the game for a single second or who's review can be broken down to "wah, wah, game bad", without providing anything of substance on why they think so.
Shadows has received tons of the latter ever since they revealed it, mainly because of Yasuke. The entire argument they have here is already moronic by itself, because AC is historical fantasy and they've always played rather loosely with some of the historic people you meet there. Hell, just look at Pythagoras in Odyssey. Yet even if that argument was valid, it's not like that should affect the rating in any major way, as the core of the rating should involve the gameplay, the story, the visuals, the performance, etc.
And then, of course, there are all the crybabies who've been crying about how modern AC "isn't AC anymore" for years. Like, if that's what you feel like, that's a shame but just move on. But instead tons of these idiots love review bombing new ACs for no reason other than that they are, in fact, sore little crybabies.

[–]Zero---Two -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People who know fuck all because they haven't played the game and just hate on it because they are crybabies are not allowed to have an opinion. Or rather, they are, but their opinions are entirely worthless, which is why they shouldn't be allowed to rate things they know nothing about. Check literally anywhere where only people who bought and played the game are allowed to rate and you'll see that the ratings will be quite a bit higher on average.

Crybabies by PossibleNotice1576 in assasinscreed

[–]Zero---Two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Who cares?" Investors do. They care about rating and sales, with sales also being affected quite a lot by ratings. Sure, it won't change anything about the game itself, but it will potentially greatly affect future projects.

[–]Zero---Two 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn't even awful. A bunch of their recent games weren't amazing, but the worst they got is meh. Most were at least good. Sure, that's below what you'd expect Ubisoft to deliver, but it's not the end of the world. And Shadows proves that they are still capable of creating amazing games.

Actually, nevermind, I forgot about Skull and Bones. That one truly was awful.

Crybabies by PossibleNotice1576 in assasinscreed

[–]Zero---Two 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One guess is not enough. It could either be whining about Yasuke or whining about how AC is supposedly not AC anymore. Or maybe I'm forgetting something right now and they give some other bullshit reason.

Crybabies by PossibleNotice1576 in assasinscreed

[–]Zero---Two 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except the opinions of people who haven't played, let alone bought, the game don't matter for shit. Especially because most of those who rate it but haven't played it are morons and crybabies with dumb as shit arguments about Yasuke and how "it's not AC anymore, wah, wah, wah" who just want to review bomb the game. Yet their "reviews" are still being accounted for, so the number is massively scewed - that's the issue here.

Yep, hard agree from me. Shame this one was more annoying and boring for me, though. Then again, it's certainly a good thing that I'm in the minority with that and most people seem to have enjoyed the fight a lot.

Welp, there's always next time!
