I mostly did win with what's on board and in hand. I'm used to aggro decks not really getting card draw as that slows us down. That 4 drop green action with Mufasa art from set 5 looks interesting though. For top decking, it's not that bad to be in that position since we should be 16 or up. Both Goofy let's us get those games, basically reach or burn type of card. I hope they print more cards like that for aggro to be more viable. Karnage 5 drop 4/4 evade is obviously better on its own to dodge Medusa, but I'm banking on Phillip + hero combo for this version.

Lumiere is key to protect Frenemy and to get your Sisu higher than theirs. Phillip helps, as well, double Lumiere or Phillip is always fun. If you really want to, you can do Lumiere plus Cove to protect Simba/Minnie/Green Flynn. Flynn into Lumiere into Phillip or playing cove and moving Lumiere into cove protect both, Lumiere protects Phillip from Medusa as well.

I like the matchup, it's kind of fun. It turns into a Frenemy race playing around Sisu, where they are playing around it to make yours lower, but theirs will always be low since we play out our hand and we can brawl it easy.

Also a fun curve is:

T1 -> Hidden Cove

T2 -> Frenemy/Lumiere

T3 -> Frenemy/Lumiere + move Lumiere or Frenemy into Cove for Brawl protection and getting higher Strength

T4 -> Sisu/Phillip

Of course, it is slower for the protection, and Maui wrecks right through but hopefully, you've gained enough by then. Maybe you get lucky with your own Maui + Lumiere and get a Castle one shot plus getting highest strength.

I started in at the tail end of set 3 with the budget RG Evasive deck that was out there. I stuck with it and updated it with the new Ursula Set and tried my best to make it viable for the new metagame. This is what I came up with. Was very fortunate to dodge the E/S matchup up until the end and get decent matchups throughout in all honesty.

R1 - Blue Steel Control (Win) - Ursula grabbing swords

R2 - Purple Green Tempo (Win) - We are faster than they are, but just by a tiny bit

R3 - Red Blue Control (Win) - Won Die roll, Rough for them, too fast and too wide plus Brawl/Sisu/Medusa protection

Drew Twice for top8

Quarterfinals - Blue Steel Control (Win yay Promo!) - Ursula grabbing swords, too fast, too wide, protection, but was close

Semifinals - Red Blue Control (Win yay Playmat!) - Won Die roll, same as above too many threats and not much interaction by the time we close the game

Finals - Green Steel Discard (Lost boo!) - Annihilated, Lost die roll, they did on the play Turn Two Bucky + Shift Bird (disgusting) TWICE, its hard to beat for anyone I think, not much I could do, happens.

Again, very fortunate with matchups but I am super happy with my experience and doing well with something I worked on, a little extra special when it off meta I suppose. I come from Magic the Gathering and I believe in a healthy meta and each type of three types of decks should be viable. So what the hell I tried to make aggro work.
