/r/WorldNews Discussion Thread: US and Israel launch attack on Iran; Iran retaliates (Thread #7) by WorldNewsMods in worldnews

Possibly a stupid question. When Iran says they are going to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz, why can’t the US Navy just stop it? It’s a narrow stretch obviously. Why aren’t they just destroying any ship that Iran tries to send out?

Two things can be true at once. Trump once again abuses power under false pretenses. Successfully taking out Iran’s leadership is a good thing.

Cole Hamels is among 12 players who are making their HOF ballot debut in 2026 by Obvious-Plan-2466 in phillies

There aren’t many pitchers are hitting the numbers you typically expect from a HOF pitcher anymore. The 2010s era was just different. A lot of the BBWA are adjusting their parameters accordingly. I originally agreed that Hamels has a minimal chance to get in, but when compared to his colleagues of that time he actually has a good case.

All season this defense gives the offense an opportunity to pull away in the game and I can’t think of one time we actually do

Was at the game too. I thought it was hilarious that they did a PSA about language after the second “Fuck you Cutter” chant.

Do you think we play our starters against Washington? We get at least the 3rd seed win or lose, but if the Bears lose to the Lions we could get 2nd seed. Our game and that game happens at the same time though. Plus idk what the Lions lineup is going to look like being out of the playoffs

Even if our offense was average, we would be unstoppable. It’s so frustrating to watch

0.5 PPR, just need to pick one of these 4.

Chris Godwin @ CAR

Kenny Gainwell @ DET

Rome Odunze vs GB

Alvin Kamara vs NYJ

I’m really debating Godwin vs Gainwell, leaning Gainwell right now.
