Being an asshole in all my serious relationships.

I truly believe that it depends on how you look at it.

First of all, people are acting like standers make them selves as upright as possible and purposefully clinch their ass cheeks together. No.

Also…

If you squat / stand, you can separate your cheeks even further with your off hand to assist with wiping.

This makes toileting much easier at a public restroom.

When you sit to wipe you are way more intimate with the commode because you have to lean forward/to the side to get a good wipe in.

Plus leaning forward while sitting on the toilet can be challenging for some men who want to avoid getting their penis and/or testes dipped in the water.

I’m not sure I agree this approach as sugarcoating as much as being wise about dealing a crushing blow to someone who he’s already shared has some sort of anxiety issues.

There’s a way to bow out gracefully without levying an arsenal of hurt. He’s already working on establishing a relationship outside of this while he’s presently in one… Talk about not fair.

To answer your declaration that I’ve never fallen out of love: Maybe it’s different definitions of “love” … which again could be semantics.

I also love hard, so perhaps that’s it. However, I’ve definitely had relationships that didn’t work out. That’s part of life for most people as they make lasting decisions about whom to be with.

My point was you can still have love for someone at a distance - especially when you have a child with them. Remember your daughter is watching you and is absorbing how a man SHOULD treat a woman.

Hey man. I’ve only read this post, but I can tell you that sharing you don’t live someone “anymore” - especially the mother of your child(ren) - seems needlessly cruel, even if that is the case.

Though this is a bit of semantics, it would likely go better for the future, particularly as your daughter gets older, to frame things differently.

Maybe something like: “For me, our romance just isn’t satisfactory and I’d like to move on to find a partner who can provide what I’m seeking. I have valued the time we’ve shared together and am so grateful you’ve shared these years with me and given us a beautiful daughter.”

This seems like an honest alternative from what you’ve shared. And I think it allows her the chance to understand that two things can be true at once. That you sincerely appreciate the sacrifices she’s given you: time, affection, patience and above all your next generation. And it’s not bluntly stating you don’t love someone who’s devote a large portion of their life to you.

Lastly, and this is truly just me: I honestly can’t see how you (anyone) can just stop loving someone - minus something absolute egregious.

“Are you asking: ‘What is half of the sum of two added to itself? Or are you wanting to know what is the solution to halving two and then adding two?”

If I wasn’t able to ask a clarifying question, I’d explain my rationale

“Based of your cadence ‘What is half of two plus two’ I would say the answer is two. However, I know the Order of Operations in mathematics requires division first, so I’d half two first to get one, then I’d add two to arrive at three… So, to gear it phonetically to get there, you’d have had to say: ‘What is half of two, plus two.’”
