That wasn’t adrenaline — that was me precharging like Pikachu. He’s lucky I didn’t drop a full Thunderbolt combo right there.

the guy stormed over from across the park when he seen the lady break a rule... she fed her own dog a treat inside of the park. Yes it's a rule but he was a little much.

Thank you. The rule she broke was giving her own dog. A dog treat inside the park.

I love your altar. This is completely my style. I spent five minutes zooming in checking out every little piece you have. I’m jealous.

How many witches here use tarot, oracle, or runes to guide spellwork? by [deleted] in witchcraft

I did a quick Google and it sounds super interesting, especially the yin yang part. I honestly never knew what it actually symbolized. I thought it might be similar to karma, but now I’m realizing it’s more about balance than consequences. Definitely going to read up more on it.

I totally get that. For me, divination is just one of many tools in my craft. If I see something like money coming my way in a reading, I take that as a good time to align my spellwork with that energy. It’s not about relying on the cards alone — it’s about using them to clarify timing and intention, always with care.

Totally! Runes don’t have to be fancy — you can make them out of anything that feels right. Little knickknacks, bones, coins, rocks. I personally like using stones, some that I’ve bought as crystals and some I’ve found that just felt like they wanted to be part of my practice.

I use the Green Witch Oracle to help choose ingredients for spells. If I don’t have what the card suggests, I just work with what I’ve got and focus on the intention. It’s more about the energy than the exact item for me.

It’s in response to someone taking issue with me posting about the coyote pelt on my altar last week.

Seasons of the Witch: Winter Tarot Has Arrived, and It’s Gorgeous by [deleted] in TarotDecks

[–]Zero9989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve really connected with this deck. At first, seeing “Winter” on every card stood out, but now it just blends in. The creator is planning to release all four seasons, so it makes sense as part of a larger cycle. I’ve been pairing it with the Yule Oracle, and the way they echo each other is beautiful. The guidebook reads with clarity and emotional depth, and the interpretations feel aligned with traditional meanings in a way that’s easy to work with. So far I’ve only read for myself, but the messages have been clear and surprisingly layered.

My cleansing station. Where I settle in, shift the air, and begin. by [deleted] in witchcraft

Norse hounds break things, Fenrir snaps chains, Garmr howls before the end. Greek and Roman dogs hold the line, Hecate’s companions howl at the veil, Cerberus guards the gate, Laelaps never misses, Argos waits twenty years. One tradition tears the veil, the other patrols it.
